Ok.. here is a Picture of the GEOSTICK my mom made for me..... Its not the biggest picture, hope everyone will be able to see it.

I will try to get a picture posted later today. It really IS amazing that she got all of this stuff onto the stick! ( and then some) LOL I had to remove some items.. seems she being a mother OVERPACKED for me..!!

My mother made for me, recently a walking stick that has everything I need geocaching attatched.. on the very top of the stick is a hook for retrieving things out of very high locations ( I have run into caches hidden way up in trees out of reach) a twenty foot piece of rope wrapped around the walking stick ( you never know...) A first aid kit, cell phone holder, knife in a pouch ( attatched of course) A pack which holds swag items, flashlight,pens,bug bite stuff,bug spray,hand sanitizer, gloves, dry socks, etc. a place to hang a bottle of water, lots of caribiners,a bandana for wiping the brow... a multitool, tweezers, magnets, compass,bear spsray( we have black bears abundantly here in our area) etc. It has a rubber "foot" and she made marks on the bottom of this stick every inch to two feet, so I can tell how deep the swampy areas or rivers are before I step into them... This was a very thoughtful gift that she made for me, because I would always squish all of these items into a large backpack, now I just need my "GEOSTICK" and I am good to go.. only thing I have to bring besides my stick is my GPS. all of the heavy items are near the bottom which by the way actually help me with my balance. So.... all I need is my STICK!

I hope I am posting in the correct place, A few geo buddies in our area would like to host an event this summer, but we need some ideas on Event activities.. of course there will be eating and new caches to be found, but any good fresh ideas on games or other activities that will be family friendly?? I appreciate any help!!

I use a Garmin 76s GPSmap unit... the send to GPS thing always worked for me in the past, but now since the upgrade, Even though I have downloaded the newest plugin and the test page says it recognizes my unit, I never get past the "download newest plugin" page when I click on send to GPS on Geocaching.com. What should I do?? I know there are NEW and "better" GPSr's out there now, but I REALLY do like the one I have and it works fine... or WORKED fine with geocaching.com I would hate to have to go out and buy a new one just "because"

Ok... I give up. I will just remove the cache and let it be. Not sure I want to try to hide any more of them. Its not like I did not research where I was putting the cache... I checked the newest plot book... USA land... Checked the Wisconsin State Gazeteer Map book... USA land... never saw anything that would lead me to believe it was STATE land... everything says USA. Where does a person LOOK to find out if its SNA?? Maybe that would be a helpful thing to know.

I am not sure what the problem is, but it seems like when I place a new cache, I end up with one particular reviewer and this reviewer seems to enjoy giving me a hard time..???!! I recently placed a cache in an area where there are other caches not far from that location ( about a mile to the closest) My cache was bounced several times, each time with a different excuse, none of the first issues being the location mind you. After doing everthing that the reviewer told me to do, and undoing those very same things because the reviewer changed their mind, NOW the issue seems to be location based. According to the reviewer, my cache is in a Protected Hardwoods area.... SO ARE THE OTHERS but they are all up and running.. two of which just became active two months before I placed mine. What gives?? How do you request another reviewer???? Is it possible to do that ??
