  1. If you have a cache on your watchlist and the coordinates are changed on the page do you get an e-mail? The reason I'm asking this is I believe a cache pirate has cache GCT1QV on a watchlist. I recieved an e-mail from the owners that they replaced the cache for the third time and changed the coordinates and when I went to look for it today I noticed a single set of footprints in the snow searching the new area of the cache. I however could not find the cache.
  2. I know that a couple of the effected cachers are planning on using a game camera to try to catch this guy. This has all been going on since September and with the new changes they would have to be registered to find the coordinates. The fact that they've come back and remuggled some caches a second time make me wonder if they didn't put those caches on a watchlist. Gulliver's Crew's cache "O' Tannenbaum, O' Tannenbaum" not only did they take the cache box both time but also a six ft. fake Christmas tree. Thanks for all the advice folks. Sooner or later this loser will be caught. I ran into my first fellow cacher back in 02 and I only did a little over 30 caches that year. Concidering how many more people are doing this now the maggot will screw up. We won't give up!!!
  3. One or two I would say maybe but several have been well hidden and off the main path where only someone looking for it would go. Besides myself the others who have lost caches in this area include Gulliver's Crew, DNNSGPS, kenpski, MacPhd, Metaphor and GreytSilly. The 1/1 rating on GreytSilly's cache is low it should have been higher. It was 100 ft. off the trail hidden in a boll of a tree.
  4. Since around September there have been at least 17 caches just north of Rome, N.Y. go missing. Some have been replaced just to go missing again. Cache waypoint GCT1QV was replaced this Sunday only to be taken again. Does anyone have any thoughts on what can be done to stop this?
  5. I just bought a Forester and can't wait to take it caching. I didn't know I would be getting a magazine with a geocaching artical it it.
  6. Glad to see your back in the area. I'll be looking forward to another get together in Watertown. Don't fell bad about One Tall Wall as it took me several tries to find it.
  7. The coin looks awsome. I usually order 2, one for myself and one for the couple I go caching with. The way this coin looks they may not get it. Naw, I couldn't do that to them. A big thumbs up on the coin.
  8. Send an e-mail to NFA. It's his web site and he will be more that happy to help you out.
  9. I just sent an e-mail to confirm my address. I'm the one from N.Y.
  10. If they over sell they have rain checks to buy the item at the sale price then pick them up when they come back in stock.
  11. If anyone believes that I've got a bridge to sell them.
  12. I'm not saying that everyone or even most people are like that but look how quickly L.E. coins get onto EBAY.
  13. Because not everyone lives on these fourms. The Geoghost coin actually started selling and was sold out before the posted time of the sales. The LIGO coin came up for sale on Thanksgiving day without any warning After a four hour drive to my brothers that day I was lucky just to get some of the bronze. THe Georgia Peach was sold out even before I could get to the page as I don't have a high speed connection. Why not just put them up for auction and let the highest bidders have them. I would rather see the maker of the coin get the higher price rather than some greedy coin hound who gets them just to sell them on EBAY.
  14. And Albany is the capitol of what state? Vermont maybe!
  15. How about the state of intoxication. Not that I've ever visited that state.
  16. Great list but Gob-ler has moved to Maine.
  17. You can get an extention for a year. If you go to the NYGO web site they should be able to help you out. Why it took JMBELLA 3 months to get a permit I don't know. Maybe a park manager on a power trip.
  18. I don't understand how I could be on both lists. Is my order verified or am I on the waiting list?
  19. Now it's the 12 Days of caching. On the first day of caching my true love gave to me A camoed mirco cache in a pear tree.
  20. 6 years in the U.S. Navy on board the U.S.S. Lapon SSN-661.
  21. There are too many to count. The first was Ray and Debbie and the second was Rusty O Junk. Both were at the same cache and the same day.
  22. I paid via paypal. I paid for 4 but noticed that the paypal invoice said 1. I wonder if this is an error or if it's because of being a preorder???
