  1. Leave it to Geocachers to be creative when it comes to Sequential Moments in time. 9.9.9 / 10.10.10 / 11.11.11 / 12.12.12 / 11.12.13 Not too many more ways in the near future to have a Sequential Event. Throw into the mix that some read their dates, Day Month Year while others Month Day and Year. So here is the thing. We have an event coin Version November and Version December. We have been given permission to host our events in the States early, and have approved the events to happen after the fact. Whether your event is in December or November we've got the perfect coin for you. If you are hosting an event or two to celebrate 11.12.13 and want to make a custom version of this coin for your event, or if you want to participate with our generic version of the coin, please email me Michael@Oakcoins.com. I can get you the information ASAP. We only have until October 3rd to order. That's Less Then a Week. Oakcoins will be hosting the following events: 11.12.13 11:12:13 Flash Mob Event 11.12.13 Event Celebration. We are going to party like its 1999. 11.12.13 European Spectacular to Celebrate with our friends "Across the Pond" "Down Under" or "In the Great White North - Ehh?"
  2. If it would help. We can facilitate the trade/exchange on the others. If coins are sent here, then we can send one shipment internationally in stead of several. Just a thought. It is nice to have signature items to place in caches or trade along the way. Please let me know if I can help or if there are any questions. We got a lot of positive feed back on the coins at geowoodstock.
  3. You are correct. One of the Stealth ones was not in the trade.

  11. HAPPY 12-13-12 ! I Hope everyone had a great event. From the sounds of it, it seems like everyone did. We had a great time at our two events. The Flash Mob was more then we had anticipated. We even had a Canadian stop in on his way through town. We are glad he was able to make it. The Evening event was great fun. Who can go wrong with Free Food? We are all but out of Coins, so we hope the same is true for each one of you. If our phone ever stops ringing with requests for any versions available for 12-12-12 coins we will enjoy the peace and quite that follows a crazy fun exciting World Wide Multi Event. For Tomorrow the Question will be: Who's ready for another? Hum...Whereisit?
  12. Beauty in metal! I'm waiting for my "sunny coins" to arrive today. I really was impressed with the sun on this coin. Great Job!
  13. With 12-12-12 Just one week away, I hope that everyone is excited and ready for their events. I think everyone but one has their coins and so I hope we are all on track with that part. If you have not received your coins yet. PLEASE email me so that we can hunt them down. I have contacted several events organizers that we have sold the Pink 12-12-12 coins to and reminded them that the coins are not be sold prior to their 12-12-12 event. Every effort was made to get the coins out early, at many requests, so that coins would insure in time delivery. It's unfortunate that some have crept up on EBAY. Good Luck! May your events be well attended. May your coins be a hit. May the weather be good. And if we all survive 12-21-12: Merry Christmas! and Happy Caching.
  14. I'll check into it. We had a small issue earlier, but thought it got corrected. I'll email you tomorrow
  15. It's #3 it just didn't translate well in the scan. I think it looks great. Now lets see them in glow
  16. Have you figured out which ones are which location/event yet? Sorry, no I have not. Mine (St Joseph, MO) is the first one (on the left) in the second row from the bottom. 1. Nova Scotia 2. Dartmoor 3. Myrtle Beach, SC 4. South Bohemia, Czech Republic 5. NW Washington 6. Indiana 7. Fayetteville 8. Pilsen 9. Mantinoba 10. SoCal High Desert 11. St Joseph, MO 12. GEOSWAG 13. Kontich 14. Skyfall 15. Peoria 16. Twin Cities 17. St. Louis, MO 18. Seattle, WA 19. Maine 20. Eksjö, Sverige Here is what I show these as. But I think you switched a couple around on the backside. Let me know if I am wrong. Michael I think that the Michigan coin is in the 3rd row the 4th coin over so if I have your numbering scheme correct it would be 14. Oh! My bad. Maybe it was the 6N-04 007 that made me think of the James Bond Movie.
  17. I need names and locations! You're Kidding Right? That sounds like a big job. I'll see what I can come up with. Michael
  18. I need names and locations! 5 from left, 2nd down - Auckland, New Zealand. I didn't know it was at first because none of the coins there match the colours I picked and approved. Now that the coins have arrived I know why... The mint coloured our coin wrong. I've just now emailed Michael about it, but I know that it's not his fault and there's nothing he'll be able to do with now less than 2 weeks until the event. Now for the unapologetically "woe is me" portion of this post. This comes after the mint got the colours wrong for our Leap into Caching coin as well. At least that time it was a more subtle mistake. This time a large area that was supposed to be bare copper as been coloured yellow when there was no yellow at all specified on the coin anywhere! I don't know how they can get the colours wrong and different to the artwork they produced. Clearly there is no such thing as quality control measures. Oakcoins: Time to look for a new mint! Edit: Michael is looking into what they can do, but I know realistically it will not result in having the coins minted correctly and delivered in time for the event, and returning these coins and getting new ones will result in US$200+ in extra shipping. It's Christmas Time. Who knows what the little chubby man in a Red Hat can do?
