  1. I have a Garmin GPSmap 76 CSx - my 1st gps, thought I'd do it right!
  2. I worked with a guy (Curtis) who ended up being my best friend. When my ex and I divorced, I moved near Curtis and his girlfriend, as the three of us enjoyed doing a lot of the same things. Curtis used to call me and his then-girlfriend the two blonde hussies. After a few weeks, he decided that he needed a way to differentiate us - and he gave me the nickname "Busy Blonde Hussy", which is still my main screen name for my e-mail account. If I wasn't with them, I always had SOMETHING going on! LOL - I've just found it easier to leave off the "hussy" part when I post to other venues! Many years have passed, but I still love this name, even with the harrassment I've gotten for it.
  3. I recently purchased the Garmin GPSmap 76CSx, and it does have a 3-axis compass. It is an awesome unit, with a fantastic receiver. Driving from NC to WV, and riding up and down forested trails on an ATV in WV, the only time the unit lost signal was going through the 2 tunnels on I-77 - and it made it a good way through the tunnel before reception was lost. I don't think you can beat this unit!
  4. I got the Garmin GPSmap 76CSx a couple weeks ago - and I love it! I just started geocaching, but have used the gps in the car, on my 4-wheeler, and it's phenomenal. I got this one because it has improved reception in deep woods and ravines, and it's waterproof. After a 2-day ATV trip in West Virginia, I was impressed. It never lost signal, no matter where we went. When I rolled my ATV into a mud bog, I broke the handlebar mount but the GPS is still going strong. The gps has been dead-on with the caches I've found so far. In fact, I'm probably going to buy another one for my boyfriend - so he can have one in his truck, and he doesn't need to 'borrow' mine!
