  1. So it`s a bit like a pamphlet from the tourist office recommending sites for this and that reason and a waymark Tour are several sites (waymarks) combined together to form a hike that leads past all of them?
  2. Can I have the website transfer all my solved mysteries to my Oregon 700 without me manually adding them to a list? They are scattered across large parts of the country and I cannot remember where all of them are.
  3. I am a fairly new geocacher. My daughter and i found our first geocache about 6 years ago and within the last year we have gone all in and she (dyslexic) is now solving mysteries on screen and finding them in nature. My favourites have been the LPC and historic caches. We have promised to make a cache for a Christmas calender. Is WM a series of waypoints to guide the visitor through interesting Places? How do you tell the story underway? Will a WM qualify as a GC in a Christmas calender for a local GC Group?
  4. I have 2 trackables in my collection - or so the webpage says. I log with both phone and gps and sometimes i mess up and load the same caches into each one and only when standing with the cache remember I have already found it. That means I have 487 drafts. The two trackables have been placed among them ages ago. I marked that I put it there - I am fairly certain. But I cannot remmber in which ones. SORRY! Can I somehow tell the webpage I no longer hold those trackables?
  5. If I make my own geocoins using wood, fire and metal and make the geocoin code permanent can I somehow activate them on the website and make them fully functional geocoins? I wish to make my own designs and make hand-crafted FTF coins. DELETED! I FOUND THE ANSWER.
  6. Can i change my profile name so that it matches a stamp I wish to have made?
  7. Why does it even matter if I prove my sucess. SOmetimes I just hit Found it and don`t bother fiddling with the log. Especially minis - they are too troublesome for me to want to bother with them + I like paper of a certain size and my daughter appreciates the trades.
  8. Thank you. I found the menu you mentioned. When having activayed the cache Press page and See Geo.cache and there is the menu you talk about.
  9. Look for geocache_visits.txt, that's where the Garmin saves your found/DNF/NM/WN info. Thank you. That solved it Is there a more correct way to give up on a ccahe other than saying quit? I can see the one I gave up does not show in the geocaches_visits file.
  10. I tried my Garmin GPSMAP64ST for the first time today. Went looking for two geocaches. Found one and marked it as found on the unit and wrote a small note - the last cache I clicked "Abort", as I could not find it and nor could find an option on the unit named "DID NOT FIND". I am now home and want to have my found cache added to my account but choosing Upload I cannot find a file called filednotes.txt as the website says I am to look for and doing a search on the internal as well as the memory card does not show it either. Where am I to look for the file and did I mark the cache I did not find correctly? My unit is set up to Danish if that makes a difference.
  11. Thank you Stefan. That worked for me but I would like to embed these (several) into the tracks i downloaded even though they may be slightly off the track. To be precise I downloaded this track: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9mr465458gjhge1/haervejsruten.kml?dl=0 And would like all these locations to be embedded in the track with email, adress and phone number available to read on the GPS unit: http://haervejsherberger.dk/hvordan-finder-jeg-herbergerne/
  12. Can I mark 3 different locations and have all caches (possibly filtered by type) within a set radius sent to my GPS in bulk? I have a free geocaching account and have just invested in a gpsmap64st and starting a new job I would like to fine some in a nearby forest of where I work now before not comning there often any longer + add caches from two other nearby forests. Also... What information will I be able to see of a cache when using it with a free geocaching profile? The hints?
  13. I have ordered a Garmin GPSMAP64st. Partly to track some biking routes, get safely from A to B when hiking as well as geocaching. I would like to be able to mark some places on Google Maps and have them show up on the GPS. If I can add them to downloaded routes that would be super (B&B on hiking trails, nature scenery etc). Also when using the GPS and taking a beautiful picture using my phone I would like to save the GPS coordinates to save them for planning future biking, hiking, running routes. Can anyone help me with these wishes? I plan on kiking some more parts of Danish pilgrim route Hærvejen, Kyst til Kyst as well as the Camino de Santiago.
