I think that the reviewers are doing a great job. I was really impressed with my first cache this month. I submitted it at 10:15 at night and by 11 that night cachers were out there looking for the FTF. I have submitted others caches this month and they have been pretty good. KEEP UP THE GOOD JOB. We put one in a cache and when we came home we found out that the next person took it out. Our local store charged 3 for $1.

Sorry I posted in the wrong thread - it should of been in the TB one.

We got approved at 10:30 last night for this new cache. This is our first regular cache that we have placed. It got visted at 11 p.m. and 1 a.m. and before noon (today) we have 6 visits and 7 TB are through resting and moved on and one TB left. I guess I need to go check on the cache later and place another TB in . Didn't realize people are TB crazy.

After we got there we got our pocket pc out and read past logs. Some of them got past the gate (don't now how) and some others just left like we did. The cache was on the other side of the gate according to past logs. What I waste of time for us as we aren't going to try to get past a security gate.

Went to a cache this weekend and the GPS lead us to the other side of the gate. The thing that bothers me is that to access it you had to drive up to the gate and show a pass to enter. Whats up with these caches? I don't feel very comfortable about trying to get in and I hate those caches where they have signs that say survelience cameras.

I have never filled out the paperwork for placing a new cache. Where it says Note to Reviewer can you leave that blank? Mine is a simple cache and it is pretty self explanatory in the name, description, etc. How long will it take to pass the reviewer (72 hours like listed on the web)? Thanks for all the info. It is so nice of people to give me some advice. Might do the duct tape as I need to get some weather protection.

We are planning to come to Vegas this summer and will never be able to see ALL of the caches. Any suggestions of those you need to find or don't want to miss caches would be appreciated.

Thanks for your info - now - I have got to find some a good snail. Here in Utah they are not very big but I guess any snail shell will probably do. Just need to place it where someone won't step on it.

Do snail shell work for cache containers? If so, where would you hide one? I haven't seen one out caching.

I am new to the geocaching and want to know what kind of paint or texturizing a plastic container will stick. I have seen peanut butter jars (plastic containers), etc that are camo or texturized and would like any info. thanks, Mom the Cook
