Yep! I got one too. Chuck's PTB Compass. The only problem about the maps is that if you do a lot of caching in the same area its really hard to read the map, check out mine...

icon_eek.gif You can make out his map a little better.

Doh! I saw the title, I was fixing a night time cache too but luckly in a differnt area. I ordered the light reflectors and everything. Well thats good anyway that way I can get some hints on how to go about it anyway or imrove on it.

I'll try to be there sounds fun. But I doubt the kids (or the wife for that matter) will let me go on Holloween. But I'll be looking forward to it.

Thats a good idea I didn't think about that. I went to it last year, kinda cool. I was planning on going this weekend. I'll take my GPSr with me to see the tracklog. I'll try to post mine if I remember to take it.

As I said before I'm using 4.02 and my 128MB Scandisk still works fine. I'd just like to use the new firmware. It usually fix bugs, but I think I'll wait unitll I hear that someone else has upgraded thier MeridiColor.

You can find the answers to this a most terms in the Geocaching.com Glossary.

    Geomuggle

A non-geocacher. Based on "Muggle" from the Harry Potter series, which is a nonmagical person. Usually this term is used after a non geocacher looks puzzled at a geocacher making circles with their GPS receiver, or when a non-geocacher accidentally finds a cache. Geomuggles are mostly harmless.

I don't know if I completely agree with the "Mostly harmeless" part. I've had a cache pludered twice before. I just gave up and archived it.

    No and No...

The Meridan color doen't have a compass or a barometer! Belive me I wish it did. I could use the fuctionaltity. Also the Sportack color doesn't support a external antenna.

Another difference between the two is the screen The Meridian has a larger but lower resolution screen, while the Sportrak has a smaller but higher resolution screen.

I'd love to hear from FullCt about how they accomplished this.

    I'm with Bartster on this...

Thats kinda unbeliveable. icon_rolleyes.gif On top of having to finding one every 5 minutes he says he traveled 400 miles thats at least 5 hours of driving alone 6-7 if he was in the city. I've been to Nashville twice and cached there. Sure there are alot more caches out there than in my area, but I only managed to hit 4-10 a day while caching for about 3-4 hours.

What probably happened is that he found the caches over time and just logged them all the same day. O don't know why someone would do that but who knows?!?

BTW... The most finds I have in a day I think is 17.

  9. Hey Jeremy!

One thing I noticed on the updated "logging a cache". When I go back to edit a post to drop off a second TB in a cache, it doesn't give me the drop list to drop it. I have to create a note to drop a second TB.

Cause I use a PTB and when I drop off a TB and my PTB I have to bug the cache owner with a Cache page Note sent to his E-mail. (cause I delete it off the cache page, but it still gets sent to his e-mail)

Can this be changed or updated?

You could always use a USB to Serial cable if your laptop doesn't have a serial port.
