  1. Well done!!! And cheers for all the scripts - you're a star
  2. LOL! He forgot his belt, but bought one later at Sainsburys in Kidlington - Man at Tu
  3. Wahey! Well done Hazel - have a bacon butty to celebrate
  4. You took the words right out of my mouth Stuey! And since I have very fond memories of Dartmoor I shall definitely be getting one of these!
  5. There's a village in Berkshire (Bradfield Southend) where there are several houses heavily decorated for the festive season. Some of them put out donation boxes for various charities. Wadders, Stuey and Cachemad were on their way to our Thames Path, Bucklebury Ford cache last December and took this picture.
  6. I know of a cacher in Devon who has bling all over the front of his house *cough* Stuey *cough*! I'm sure he'll be along with a piccie in due course
  7. Thank you to everyone who came along to the event. We had a great time, and judging by the logs, so did everyone else. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
  8. Not at the Goring event, cos they will be playing the Tarzan theme in my honour! (must remember to have my leopardskin loincloth dry cleaned in time) Back on topic ... my preferred mode of caching travel is, of course, a jungle vine, but there don't seem to be many of them about so the GeoBus has to do instead
  9. How about "What's your favourite caching outfit?"
  10. Good point! I'll put something on the cache listing about it .... thanks Also ... there are only 20 people with the event page on their watchlist. If you are coming along, and haven't done so already, pretty please put it on your watchlist so you don't miss out on any announcements, such as the one I just posted about bringing your wellies because it's muddy in some parts in Goring. Thanks, Liane
  11. You're supposed to be DIY'ing! Congratulations xxx
  12. Ouch! Was it really necessary to twist my arm that much! Oooooh ouch! Would the organisers please try and get a site with a playpark (for the kiddies during the day but the bigger kiddies at night, muhahaha).
  13. Yup I've got one If I do have a change of plans and turn up at TBF I will bring it with me Edited: unless Highland Nick has already posted it of course ... sorry, I replied before reading the responses! Mine's got 1, 2 and 3 too
  14. Looks like a ruin on the way to a cache in Oxon, but I can't remember which one. I will see if I can find it later, but I am off out. I just wanted to congratulate The Golem on his 1000th post Was that the question or isn't there one yet? Edited as promised: this was the place I thought it looked like link and it actually looks nothing like it all. Strange how one's memory fades .....
  15. Can't say I have seen any knives or anything like that as TB's. I saw a corkscrew once but didn't think it was anything untoward. When you say "many" .... how many? Presumably no-one would be daft enough to leave a TB with something dangerous attached in a cache. Are they just for taking along to caching events, particularly camping ones, to be used by anyone who needs them? Can you highlight some examples please Globetrotter.
