Hello All, I apologize if this has been asked before. But I get email notifications of new cache and when I click on the link for title of cache on my iPhone, it takes me to Geocache website instead of the Geocache application. Furthermore, it states that I can't view the cache since I am not a premium member. I've been a premium member for several years now!! Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?? Thank you!!

Yes, I feel your frustration. I am new to this and placed a non expensive travel bug which is M.I.A. I also bought some really nice geocoins, but hesitate to put them out there because I fear they will also go missing.

Agree with above and adding that i dislike COs who do not take care of their cache. And, people who keep your travel bug.

Wow, I thought I might meet some resistance on this one! WAs attempting to find a cache last night and got within a couple of feet, according to iPhone, but thorns and brush were sooooooo thick, it was impossible to penetrate; hence, came away empty handed and will most likely have to visit this cache again in late fall or early spring. I don't want to cut a swab through the forest, but as one answer states above, some caches are undoubtedly placed when the foliage is low. To get within a couple of feet and not be able to get a find due to wild bushes is surely disappointing.

Hello, Does anyone use a machete for bushwhacking? If so, can you give recommendations for one that is effective and lightweight for a reasonable price. THanks!

Hello Everyone, My name is Rachel and I live in Maryland. Just started geocaching after watching a segment on PBS on "Outdoors Maryland". Geocaching was showcased in a segment and it looked like so much fun. Registered with geocaching.com and reading a lot to familiarize myself with the how tos. I have a question about geocoins. I see some cache descriptions state that a geocoin is available for FTF. However, I thought they were not to be taken or if so, they were to be relocated to another cache. How do you know if you need to leave it or if you can keep it. Thanks a bunch!
