I just got a new laptop that runs on Window Vista. I downloaded the newest verson of GSAK and I downloaded CacheMate and I install my Palm software. I am able to to download individual GPS eXchange File from the cache page and then Export to CacheMate PDB File. and then do a HotSync and transfer the info to my Palm. If I do a pocket query and from my email open the zip file and drag it onto the desktop screen that works just fine. My problem is when I open GSAK and try and drag the file from the desktop into GSAK it won't go into GSAK. I can still do this on my older compter but would like to be able to do this with the laptop.

I downloaded the Island of Kauai to my 60CSx. Is there a way to verify that all the data was transfered to the GPS?

I only ask for hints after I have exhausted all the possiblities and I am stuck. I know some cachers who ask me for a hint after they have done the same. On the other hand I know one cacher who couldn't find a cache if his life depended on it. All he wants is someone to tell him where it's at. I guess we all have our own reasons for doing this.

What is the procedure for paperless mapping? I picked a used etex Venture Cx and a Tungsten C. I am still using Mapquest to get me near the cache. Is there a way for me to have the GPS map give me the same info that Mapquest does?

Please help, I am going nuts. I am a Premium member, also I downloaded and registered GSAK and CacheMate. When I do a pocket query and receive it by email and export it to CacheMate everyting turns out great. I use a Tungsten C. The problem I am having is when I try and DOWNLOAD WAYPOINTS I am not getting all the Info to my Palm like I do when I perform a pocket query. The Hints and Past Logs to not get downloaded to the Palm I will list the steps I do for this 1. From Find page I click on more than one box in the far right column. 2. I click DOWNLOAD WAYPOINTS 3. I Save to my Documents 4. I open Documents and Double click on what I saved 5. This open GSAK and I click OK 6. This Downloads the data and it appears Why is the Last Log and Last Found column both empty? When I do a pocket query these column have info in them. 7. I then Export to CacheMate, without all the info I would get if I did a pocket query.

I am using a Palm Tungsten C with CaheMate and GSAK. I am able to download pocket queries to the palmand my GPS. How to I upload the logs I fill out on the Tungsten C to geocaching.com?
