This is a great forum! I have learned so much from reading here. One thing that interests me is the ability to personalize the disclaimer screens on startup. I know that it is possible with other units but I have not read if it is possible to do with the Sportrac Pro. Has anyone done this? Thanks Tim

Hello Everyone, I just purchased the Sportrac Pro and love it. I am dissapointed in the mapsend topo though. I guess I am spoiled with Terrain Navigator. My main problem is this. I use the sportrac pro with a fairly new laptop that doesn't have the right connections to use the pc cable. What is the workaround? Is there a com port to usb converter or something or does someone make a aftermarket part that works. Hello I'm brand new to this sport and considering buying the aformentioned products. I have a few questions and would really appreciate it if a few of you could answer my questions. 1. Is the Sportrac pro compatible with Terr Nav? They don't have it listed on their website as a compatible unit. 2. If the above question's answer is yes, I assume that it is possible to upload tracks and waypoints to the program to be saved, right? ...and conversly as well? 3. Has anyone any comments on the durability of the Sportrac Pro? I plan on using it attached to the handlebars of my motorcycle...among other things. Thanks Tim
