  1. I'm not sure why this would not benefit geocaching.com if given to the masses. It would be as if Facebook started charging people before they could like a post/status. Seems silly. Thank you though for everything else!
  2. I'm wondering about hiding a nano-cache (my 2nd hide only) near a statue/ work of art which I admire as I'd like to share this with others however I'm not sure if this location would be considered on public or private property. It is on the corner of a street intersection but the statue along with it's surrounding area including benches to sit at are not per say right on the corner of the intersection. I suspect the property belongs to the owners of the strip malls on found on either side of the relaxing and inviting area. With that description of the area I'd like to hear opinions and quesitons of all you out there as to whether or not placing a cache in such an area would be taboo? I recognize I may not have missed addressing something that may help in answering the quesiton. That said, feel free to ask as I'd be glad to give more detail about the area...... Thank you!
  3. I'll add my two cents.... I hate finding a cache at a location that I would never visit otherwise. Examples of these would be cache in some forsaken alley, behind a retail store, on the side of any old regular street. Come on people! Show me the beautiful parts of your neighborhood! Introduce me to a place that I'd want to visit again while not caching! Location, location, location!
  4. Any of you experts out there know of a good source online where I can punch in an address and get an idea of it's lat/long coordinates? I would think an online map source such as MapQuest or Google would offer something like this but as of yet I have found nothing. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part. Any ideas and thoughts of yours would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, At1a5
