  1. Excited about this Essex thing, Jo! At last, living here may pay off!! CL xx
  2. Definitely a good move... worked for me, and it was only a 15 minute event!
  3. Welcome to a completely different social life- you meet great people when you're a cacher- I had great fun this weekend with a load of cachers I'd never met before after the WWFM in London... Have fun, Myles! ClareLouise
  4. Yey- just got an email!! £30 voucher for me! Hooray- now- jacket or walking trousers??!
  5. Thanks for sharing that one!! Made me and my housemate chuckle a lot this morning... and a great looking cache! Now on my hitlist! CL xx
  6. I have a duplicate Stonehenge Coin, and would love to get my hands on either an Angel of the North or London Eye coin- if anyone is interested, PM me! Clare xx
  7. He might not be a cacher- might have just seen the offer, got a coin and want to get rid of it... You never know...
  8. Harlow Town Park doesn't... it's an amazing park, but the only cache I can find that was there was muggled and archived. It's such a shame, because it's one of my favourite parks, and a great day out!! I might be able to help as well- will email you!
  9. My first cache was muggled, and so is now archived, so it's the perfect place to "store" my coin collection when I don't need them "in hand"...
  10. It was forcast here, and hasn't appeared- perfect chance to take the shelves into the garden and paint them... only problem in my master plan? I forgot where I put the paint!! *sigh*
  11. Hi hi all! Just in need of a little help... one of my favourite local caches is MIA, and since the cachers is no longer particularlly active (cache has been missing since April!) I've offered to adopt it and they've agreed... was trying to find the appropriate place to let them know where to go, but I can't find it... Can anyone shed a little light on how the process works? Thanks!! CL xx
  12. Working class by background, income and circumstances, and proud! My first GPS was VERY cheap and second hand, my current one was a very generous gift. I genuinely don't go caching sometimes when I'd like to as I can't afford the train fare... But it doesn't really hold me back!
  13. I've been caching for 10 months now, and still never seen a Diabetes TB... I'm still looking forward to that encounter!
  14. I'm told they only had Big Ben ones in Norwich as well- maybe as the promotion gets on, new ones will be sent out- a different one a week, maybe?
  15. No, Norwich- I got a friend who lives and works there to stop by. Not listed as being in Harlow yet, so I haven't tried there.
  16. Norwich are up and running with it. I texted a friend there when I read this this morning, and she has one sitting on her desk now waiting for me... I just told her to ask for a free Garmin Geocoin, and they gave her one... I'm glad she didn't have trouble, because literally, that was all I told her, and she knows nothing about caching!
  17. Ooooh, thanks for the heads up... Now, the question is, do I want to give up my only free day at home in a few weeks to head off to London and visit a few Millets and Blacks shops picking up geocoins? Or can I wait until they make it to Harlow?
  18. Can I ask that my first ever TB, Sebastian the Snake goes on the rescue list please? He's been stuck in Reigate Mini Rumble since March now, and I'd love to see him moving again...
  19. Is that the first one? I think I am... Hmmm, let me check... *disappears to trawl through emails* Yes, I'm on the 10.00am train! Travelling on my own.
