  1. Today as in 12:00 am or 11:59pm ?? There is a big timespan for a day.
  2. It is a fun feature and we have considered it for our v.2 implementation of the web site (to be launched sometime next year). Awesome, I would really like to see it.
  3. I know... I know No problem. Glenn brought up a good point about the IM online now feature... But, not everyone has an IM.
  4. I see no problem with this??
  5. So if I'm not on-line, your need to contact me isn't important enough to pester me while off-line? I should have known better than to post a new topic.
  6. I'm pretty sure you know what I'm talking about! People are going to email you no matter what. What I am saying is...... If you knew if they were online or not, you would know whether or not to wait for a quick reply from them.
  7. Maybe I wasn't specific enough! I meant on your Geocaching profile! Not everyone uses the forums, so that would not work for all cases. * An online now icon on your Geocaching Profile!
  8. I think it would be cool if there was an "Online now" feature. Maybe just a little icon on the cachers profile. Of course there would need have to be an option to make your online status visible or not. It would be handy when wanting to contact a Geocacher, you would know if they were online or not. What do you think guys?? Just my $0.02
  9. Greetings to all fellow Kentucky Cachers! Im treasure_hunter and I live in Eastern Kentucky. When I started caching, there were no other cachers in my area (nearest one being approx. 45-50 min away). Im happy to say that since then we now have our very own Geocaching Group for the region and the group is very active. Kentucky is a great state for Geocaching and has so much to offer. I do quiet a bit of caching in the Lexington area and I hope to expand my searches throughout the rest of the state. *If anyone will be coming through Eastern Kentucky and would like to know some nice caches in the area, please email me taylorbrent@bellsouth.net
  10. The VIRGINIA cache has been placed and is now under review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (GC11A1X) Sorry for the delay!!!!!!!
  11. Im very sorry that I have delayed this long! I volunteered for the Virginia cache and the hiding of this cache has been delayed for some time! However I have the cache ready to be hidden, and will do so within this month! Again.... I am sorry for the hold up!
  12. Yesterday.... me and rangerroad were out caching in our area! The temperature ranged from (22ºF-26ºF) the wind chill was about (-1ºF). It was also snowing. We attempted some caches that we had trouble retrieving the containers. The ground was frozen solid and if the cache was covered with sticks and leaves, it made it really hard to break it free. But hey... think of it this way, in the winter months and cold season, there aren't many people out in the park, so it makes caching there easier!
  13. It doesn't matter to me what size cache Im looking for! A find is a find! Of course I love ammo cans out on trails but you know, after you have hiked 10 miles in one day, you should appreciate a simple P&G! haha
  14. Yes... you can however it requires a harder reviewing process by GSA!
  15. I don't make all my caches MOCs but I wanted to try it out and see what it was like! Im thinking about hiding another one, kind of a sequel to my first one! No harm intended, although I do think it is good that members love our sport enough to pay into it in order to keep it going! Its nice to have a little reward for them sometimes!
  16. I decided to hide a members only cache a year or so ago! It was quiet a while before I figured out that I could read an audit log! The cache is a Mystery, but isn't very hard to solve. I sometimes enjoy going and checking out the log, comparing who has looked at the page, and how many times they have checked it out with who has found the cache! Some people check out the cache many times, I just keep wandering when they are going to find it. Does anyone else use this feature? Just wandering?
  17. Well, I never got to place the Virginia cache when I was hoping to! Had some problems! But the container is finished, stocked and ready to go! I will be over in the area in which I wish to hide the cache within the near future! I need to run over there for some business, so hopefully VA is only a little ways away from being added to the completed list!
  18. Congratulations to rangerroad for reaching the 1K mark! This is the start of many more milestones! Congrats again!
  19. I just received my 2006-07 school calendar! The possible weekend is, April 13, 14 and 15th. Is this good for everyone? This is during my spring break, and one of only a few days off from school in the Spring of 2007! So please let me know what you think?

  21. Cool, I have contacted BluegrassReviewer, he is willing to help me out with this event!
  22. I hope to see you there! This place is a little remote, but that is what makes it the perfect place, the location may be remote, but there are Geocaches all along the way! It is about 30 min from US 23 near Pikeville, KY
  23. I done the Lexington Tool Cache! It is a great hide, and a must for any cacher! I tried to do the Weather or Not Webcam, but they camera was down, and I never got it!
  24. I just recieved an email back from the Park Officials! I explained Geocaching to them, and I also explained what an Event was! I was told that they would be more than happy to host such an event! They quickly told me the number of rooms campsites and cottages they have! They also informed me that they could cater the event. even bringin food to the shelters!
  25. Good.... Im glad you show interest and I hope you can make it! I will start looking at the calendar, and see when I have a 3-day weekend off from school in the Spring of 2007! I believe that if I schedule it that far ahead that I will get a better turnout by giving cachers time to plan!
