  1. WooHoo! The custom icon has just come on line (that I have noticed) If anyone has last years evil Micro in Black Nickel or even better the LE Glow drop me a line. Thanks, Mark (Elmo)
  2. Yeah, wouldn't that be nice. Would love to put one of mine out but I'm getting so few of them as it is. I'm getting a couple of these really cool coins (if you can call them that ) and am planning on keeping one and releasing the other, so there will be at least one travelling in the wild Like everyone else I will sleep easier after I have been invoiced for them but I'm sure Anthus has everything under control.
  3. No Way, GSA! I dangled a big carrot and it was obviously too much to resist GSA's Mission: K1W1 I had been planning on placing a cache for a couple of weeks where you have to use your investigative skills to locate local historic places from photos. Seeing the the EGB had visited Kiwi Land for easter I thought I would try and tempt the GSA down this way too, and it worked I had a plan so cunning you could pin a tail on it and call it a donkey I changed the cache slightly and decided to make it a tribute to the GSA, I also included a jar of vegemite! (Because I heard he/she had a thing for vegemite). Anyway I didn't think my chances were too good as the GSA seems to be slowing down on the missions but this would be a fun cache for the locals anyway. But what do you know... I get up in the morning and check my e-mails the very day after the cache is published and the GSA has been So I got dressed and rushed out to see if he had left what I had hoped, YES! A GSA coin #144! And here's the proof The Cache. Thomas with his new favorite coin. There is a photo of the cache contents too but it ended up huge when I tried to post it here. Thankyou so much GSA, hopefully next time you are down under you can take some time away from your mission and enjoy the country. Keep up the great work, Mark (Agent Elmo)

  6. You are so close! You will be able to join the fun next time The May Day mission was our first, it's great to see how much people enjoy getting a surprise parkage from a total stranger (well usually, especially when you live all the way down here), and the joy and anticipation when you find a package waiting at home for you... tearing into it to find out what cool coins you have been sent Catchya next mission
  7. BOOOO ! ! ! HISSSS ! ! ! That Sucks big time! ! ! If I was lucky enough to find one of the GSA's coins there is no way I would ever consider selling it! Some people eh?!

  11. Wow!!! This is amazing beyond belief. I don't think anyone involved in creating our coin could have anticipated the response it has recieved. My aim was to make a coin, it was to be a coin that represented the country I live in, and it does certainly does that. You guys have shown that this coin works by you purchasing the coin and having it sold out in 12hrs (brings back compass rose memories!), Thank you. Congratulations to all those that managed to get a two tone, these coins are so great looking I hope they are enjoyed in your collection. Hopefully some of you can part with the coins and send them off as travellers (I don't blame you if you keep the Two Tones under lock and key though!) I will be talking to Jim (Castleman) about having more coins minted as by the e-mails I have recieved there are still heaps of you out there still needing to get some. We will keep you posted. Mark (Elmo)
  12. Well it came to reality! It was not so long ago that I posted here in these forums saying I had an idea for a coin but didn't have the finances to actually follow through. Jim (Castleman) was brave enough to respond with an offer to help make these coins happen. And with the help of Paula (Cinemaboxers) who took a sketch and turned it in to a mintable coin design the coins were actually made. Thank you Guys When Jim said it was going to be popular I wasn't sure if I should believe him or not, I liked the coins and the few "Kiwi's" I showed the art too also liked it, but to be nearly sold out in only a few hours! That feels great, I'm so glad that so many of you like the coin. It would be awesome for everyone who wants a coin to get one, but because of the number minted this may not be possible, sorry For all those sending trade offers, Thanks, I will do my best to reply to you all prompty and hope to trade with many of you in the near future. Thanks, Mark (Elmo) aka Team Chelmo
  13. Like others have said, "It's your call". A friendly e-mail will probably have this sorted quickly, they obviously are just under the impression they are doing their best to help this traveller with it's goal (Which I guess they are). We had a similar thing happen, but I was ok with it because the cacher was helping to complete two parts of the coins mission, and I have heaps of great photos of your country now and am gratefull for this person doing their best to help my coin out. This is mine Bad Mojo Coin Yours may sort it out itself soon by itself otherwise just ask them nicely to allow others to move it.
  14. Oh dear, I seem to have missed this one too. I try to avoid anything that has the word "Tax" in it Congrats to all the winners and thanks to all in the community that have done something no matter how small for someone else. I hope the tax man is kind to you all and leaves you with plenty of "Coin" money
