1. Greetings,

I'm a ham radio operator with callsign N2RUD. If you're a ham please send a reply, and we'll end up with a list of hams using this site. Perhaps the site administrator will give us a separate forum, called "GPS & Ham Radio". If you like that idea, say so!

Please leave your name and callsign.

Anton

------------------
Anton Ninno, N2RUD
Syracuse, NY 13210

[This message has been edited by Anton (edited 03-10-2001).]

[This message has been edited by Anton (edited 03-12-2001).]

  3. I am attempting to complete GCT4RR:NTS and I require a ham operator to send a message to the geocacher who hid this one who is also a ham operator thru the NTS system

Try when you find your radio operator sending it to to send it to VA3UPL. thats the owners call sign.

    that may help. 73

  4. here is a another idea. Make the cache like a ham radio fox hunt. The idea of a Qso from the catch sounds great , Give out a award ,call worked all catches, or caches where one needs to confirm the cache by calling from that location . 73

  5. Don't have the gear for it, but my understanding is that in the Seattle/Tacoma area there is quite a bit of Geocaching activity on one of the local 220 machines...now I just need to get some 220 gear :)

another place for a net would be 60 meters orThe FCC has granted amateurs 5332, 5348, 5368, 5373 and 5405 kHz- on HF 3' s N9GGZ
