I'm having issues emptying all entries from lists with over 500 entries (due to not being able to show 1000 at a time). I can select the first 500 and delete them, which then shows the second page, but I cannot select all for the second page unless I refresh the page.
Deleting all entries in a list is useful for repopulating automatically generated lists, e.g. D/T caches required.

I use the "has not been found" option to determine whether an event is past or future.

I'm sure others have already raised this, but could Log Type be made pinable as well as the date? It's very frustrating to type in a long log and scroll past a long list of TBs only to to find I haven't set it to Found It, and have to scroll all the way up and down again.

I've just been unable to upload a photo that is 4.9MB, and it's asking me to use a photo that's less than 5MB. Er - it is!

I'm having the same problem getting any image to load for a new cache.

I've decided that I don't care what date my caches are logged on. It the date won't stick I'll just log everything on whatever date shows up. I'm planning a trip soon where I might find up to 100 caches. I have no plans to keep changing the date for that many caches.
I like to keep logs with the correct dates, but I'm now considering logging everything as I go using the app, rather than trying to write proper logs using a keyboard when I finish. It means logs will just be "TFTC", as I hate trying to write long texts on a crappy phone keyboard.
Seriously, why is this such a problem?

Sorry for the delay, but I can confirm that the team is still exploring options to make the log date sticky again and does plan to roll this out once they have completed the coding and testing.
@Frau Potter Can you confirm that the team is still working to fix this annoying bug? 5 months and counting, and though there is the get-around of using the old logging system, having to set the log type every time is almost as annoying as remembering to change the date with the new system.

Over four months now. I'm told by an expert that all that's required is setting a session cookie, so I really don't understand why this still isn't fixed. Do Groundspeak even care?

Seems to be working again now. Just wish they could fix the sticky date bug that quickly.
-
I have the same problem - no caches showing on the browse map., although it's working on the search map.
-
It's now been two months and it still isn't fixed. This is no longer merely frustrating; I am now getting angry that Groundspeak don't seem to care. It should be a simple bug to fix, but all they seem to care about is setting more and more ridiculous souvernirs. I have 31 caches to log today that I found yesterday, and will have to waste time fixing the date on every one.
-
Are there any third party websites (not apps) that will allow me to log caches from my laptop? I'm sick to death of having to repeatedly edit my logs to fix the found it date because I haven't logged it on the day in question.

Still not working. Please revert this to the way it used to work.

I have now awarded 502 FP to caches I've found. Is there any way I can view these all in one page, as the default page limits to a maximum of 500?

If you have a means to block scripts from certain websites (I use NoScript in FIrefox for that), you can disable scripts from
- google-analytics.com
- googletagmanager.com
- googletagservices.com
and websites still work. And you have more privacy from that infamous company's tracking.
While you're at it, cookiebot.com is nothing but trouble; block that too.
I think that was part of the problem. When the problem first occured, I disabled all my add-ons, including the script blockers. All is working again now.

After some experimentation, it seems to be my ISP (Virgin Broadband) that's causing issues. If I connect through my mobile data hot-spot it works fine. With Virgin Broadband, it seems to hang up with Google Analytics.

Seems to be a browser issue. It works on Edge, but not on Firefox, at least for me.

Anyone else having problems accessing the browse map at present? All I get is a blank map, and no options.

I didn't know the leaderboard was used for anything outside of promotions.
Yes, it was originally introduced as a way of comparing your finds with friends, and when it's not used for promotions it resets every Monday. TBH these promotions are getting a little tedious.

Yet again the weekly friends league leaderboard has been taken over for use with the latest souvenir promotion. This time it's going to last a whole year. Is it not possible to create a new leaderboard for the souvenirs, and allow us to compare weekly statistics as before?

Hi - I want to post a message on this forum, but I don't want anyone to be able to read it. When will this be possible please?
(In case of doubt, this is satire).

As I've said before, I hope this isn't going to be used as an excuse to get rid of the browse map.

It's stopped working for me today as well. Hope this gets fixed soon, as the brose map is much more versatile than the search map.
