  1. Actually, no. This is for an image that looks like a face. edit: It looks great at 50x50... but at 32x32 it looks like a blob of nothing.
  2. I am having a terrible time trying to make a good looking 32x32 image to use as a tracking icon. I have trimed my pic down to the bare minimum and still it just doesn't look quite right when resized. Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks for your help, Blod
  3. Talk about an investment! I'd sell it too! Everytime I have a coin (regular, not geo) or comic that is listed for a lot more than I paid for it I think, "Wow I lucked out on this one," and hang on to it. Case & point... Witchblade #1 - bought for $30, went up to $75, held onto it hoping it would keep going up, now it goes for about $25. I won't even go into my coin collection. *blegh* Sorry for breaking the topic.
  4. Is that including shipping or not?
  5. I'm sorry... I didn't phrase that correctly. What do people usually sell a coin for that has those features.
  6. What is the going rate for a 1.5" color coin that is trackable through Geocaching.com and has an icon?
  7. Alright folks... I will finish up the cache and then work on getting the coin minted. Is there a thread around here that talks about how you guys go about preordering and all that jazz so that when the time comes I will be able to post these correctly? Thanks for all your help.
  8. Wow, thanks for the positive support. I will see what I can do about getting this coin ready.
  9. Since folks are sending me e-mail like crazy... I'll include the Reverse side of the coin here. I don't want to add the Obverse because I want to keep the cache this is for as secret for as long as possible. On the Obverse I have a figure that has something to do with the cache and below that I have the title of the cache in stylized letters highlighted in blue. Let me know what you think.
  10. That would actually be on the reverse of the coin.
  11. ... a coin who's design is based on a particular cache? I have been developing a coin to include in one of my future puzzle caches. The cache has a short story that goes along with it that deals with stolen treasure and I was thinking I would put a bunch of themed coins in the cache itself. Only problem is that there is no way I could afford to pay for all those coins by myself. Even if I did, I wouldn't live to see the find logs cuz my wife would kill me! I wanted to see if the coin fans would be intrested in this type of coin, otherwise it's not going to happen. I figure if enough people were intrested, I'd make them trackable and splurge for the special icon too. Let me know. I'd like to wait on posting the artwork until after I get a few responses; plus I'm trying to keep my idea for this cache a bit of a secret until I am finised placing it. If you really just have to see it, e-mail me at blodlizrd@memphistw.org. Thanks, Blod
  12. DNF, eh? Salt+Open Wound=Bit's last post. *tear*
  13. Hey, guys. I decided to go out and hunt a few caches after a 2 year hiatus. Got Arc d'Memphis and Overton Park Mystery caches and logged a benchmark today. Looks like the caches in Memphis are higher quality than they were before. Good job on that. Anyone have any suggestions for some good ones that don't involve specialized climbing equipment? Of course by specialized climbing equipment, I mean rope with loops tied in it. Oh and is it time for another hot wings gathering yet? Man, I've been out of this for too long.
  14. For all you folks that frequented MemphisTW.org, but ran away after all those WiFiFoFum folks showed up... Fear no more. We have moved the official discussion for WFFF to a different page and MemphisTW is back to talking about Anime, Geocaching, and other stuff that you guys were used to back then. So come on back over and say, "hey". We would love to have you back. Later, Tha Lizrd
  15. We just revamped the board so it has an all new (and improved if I do say so myself) look. Thanks for stopping by and tell your friends!
  16. I'll be there if the plans are still the same as the one that was being planed for Nov, ie cache during the afternoon and meet somewhere to eat afterward. As many of you know I work on Saturday so I am available after 7:00pm. See you guys there! Oh... is this, , a ninja? Sweet!!!!
  17. Things have really been picking up on the board ever since we got it back up and running. We are about to hit 100 users. (Too bad only about 7 or 8 are active posters.) Things may get better though. If you have any suggestions for topics please feel free to suggest them. The more we have to talk about the more likely people will talk. My skills are ferior! "Curses to you MD," I yelled as I shook my fists in the air... OK, maybe not but it would have been appropriate. My skills are ferior! Check out http://memphistw.org for my discussion board.
