Sure not looking forward to WIN 10 but going to have to make the change soon. Note on a couple of things, the communicator hasn't worked for me with Firefox for about a year. I always use GSAK to load caches. Never had a problem.

I was able to use Google maps to generate the route. Down load as a kml and them upload to GC.com Worked fine but still means creating the route twice. Once for the GPSr and once to run a PQ.

Well! method one didn't work; and a long time ago I used method two and that is more work then its worth.

Don't know when GC changed the edit feature after uploading a gpx. I always used auto routing in mapsource, saved as a gpx then uploaded to GC. Next I would edit the route on GC by click and drag to the actual route. I'll try the above but looks like more work.

What happened to the edit feature after up loading a gpx to GC.com? I have always done this in the past.

I don't know about the icon but the way I handle it is with GSAK and the way I load the waypoint name. I use the following format: %drop2%con1%typ1 this drops the 1st two letters, the container type as one letter, and the type as one letter, a multi would have the letter M for type

Thanks for the help, looks like it is more trouble then it is worth. I'll try the GSAK macro. If it wasn't for GSAK this whole thing would be to much trouble.

The yahoo ads just add the time a page takes to load for those of us on dial-up and provide no use to us the user. Please find another way to raise income.

How do I get a list of geocaches into a bookmark list? I know there is a way because I've used others bookmark lists. There seems to be no instructions on the creating book marks page.
