  3. What an amazing cache! I would love to someday get this. Of course, much like several 5/5 caches around the world, I simply don't have the money (whether it be $4000 or 40 million) to accomplish this. Amazing. Truly, humanity is a wonder, whether it be because we have the capability to put a space station in orbit and visit it, or because we give people the freedom to complain about it being a moving cache violating the guidelines of our hobby. lol Just needed my monthly dose of 'why do I even bother to check these forums'. Found it.
  4. My goal is to enjoy the caches I do, not worry about silly numbers and try to make the game better for anyone else who participates. Wait. That was my resolution last year too. hehe
  5. Well well well! Thank so so very much to Hakali for such a wonderful New Year present! Ben was very excited to open this one up! What a wonderful package of goodies! The scarf is especially wonderful (considering your location, it is an awesome idea!) as it matches my new coat perfectly! The chocolates have already started to be devoured (glad I went running today!).. Again, thank you so much! Here are lots of pictures!
  6. Huzzah! It's here!! Pics to follow!!
  7. Back in 2006, I went to a local cache which was fairly difficult, but a nice find none the less. I grabbed the TB that was in the cache, and brought it home to log it. Turns out, it had gone missing 1 year to the exact date of my finding it. Very weird! Someone had been out that day and dropped it off as an amnesty as well. Nobody knows who did it, but it was returned!
  8. I think the mail is just hosed, hosed, hosed. The box I shipped to Ontario hasn't reached GeeOCachers yet (I'm starting to put plans in place to get replacement items); and mine hasn't arrived yet either. I'd give it till New Years before starting on a replacement box. Still no luck. I'm in the Canada Post stinks category. Give it more time though, it is bound to make it!
  9. Will do! We are hoping it arrives today! Thanks!!

Weelow is waiting patiently ps. Opalsns, that keychain isn't trackable that I remember. I think it is just the GC code for the event. Sorry.
  11. Can I get a "nano" coin? If it had a screw on top it with a rubber gasket it would work as a functional cache.
  12. After receiving such an amazing package #1, and seeing all these other awesome ones, I hope that my two gift receivers aren't let down. We did out best with our "new baby" budget! All of these look so great. You all should be proud to be part of such a great community. Wish I had joined this side sooner!

Thank you Jonah from The Cache-A-Teers!!! Dear Jonah from The Cache-A-Teers, you are amazing! What a find when we went to the mailbox today and found a lovely box all the way from Idaho!! Wow. We of course couldn't wait to rip in to the box and find out what was inside. When we did? Wowzee!! What a true treasure! I've never seen nor expected so many coins! Weelow here in the pictures was happy to get some puzzles and the fun of presents wrapped was so cool! Each one of the coins individually wrapped is truly cool, way to have some patience on that one. We are saving the wrapped presents for Christmas Day, but I fear the treats won't make it much past tonight! Truly outstanding. Amazing. Fantastic. Thank you so much. Sincerely, The GeeOCachers Family.

  15. Once you have done the coordinates, you will need to go back in to the cache edit and tick the box marked "Yes, this cache is currently active". That way the reviewers know it is ready to be viewed again. You can also leave a note for the reviewer mentioning you have put your home coordinates. They ask for the home coords in order to verify that you are local enough to provide proper maintenance of the cache you have placed.

    Useless Hints

Or that your coordinates are off.... Nope. It is a very small creek right beside the hiding spot. People often start following the gps on the other side of the creek because it is the larger more immediately accessible side of things.. However, as they start to get closer they usually realize they have to cross the creek. For those who don't figure it out, the hint is helpful! Plus, the cache is quite obvious when you are on the right side.
