I agree with you dude.....but I think were a minority

But with all those cool areas you talk about, there are obovious sign that they are getting damaged do to the traffic. Well that's my experience with a couple of my caches...made them into PM's to cut down on the traffic.

here on the east coast of canada it's about 1.19 a litre so more than what it is in either spot

Like anything if you don't like the earthcaches then don't do them. I don't care if it is copy and pasted text as long as it teches me something new about the area.

Which earthcache was in a parking lot. I like the earthcaches that are in Atlantic Canada, can't say anything about what you have in Ont. but around these parts there cool. I like the new educational part of earthcaches. LIke anything in geocaching there are different likes and dislikes between us. If you don't like the current earthcaches in your area try setting one up for yourself.

That may work for some, but I wouldn't use it. In my opinion, if a virtual cache passes the "Wow" test, adding an LPC just to make it "legal" would be a desecration rather than a justification for its existence. I'd rather archive my virtual caches than do that. Yup. Why make a crappy mulit cache out of a perfectly good virtual? I agree...crappy multi's

Cachers could set up earthcaches in the parks and have no impact on the ecosystem at all in the park.......just a thought

I've owned 3 Legends and a venture....took the plunge and bought the 60csx and by far it's the best unit I've owned to date

Archiving it would be a bad mistake, I have 4 archived caches and I hate it......keep it going dude

I have a 3 month old, that likes to go for drives in the middle of the night.....I tend to get bored just driving around, these so called "lame" caches are handy sometimes for me. So to each his/her own that's why there is a ignore functon on Gc.com, you don't have to do the caches. I have been caching since 2002 and in my area we have gone though the same thing you talk about in your area, but I believe the caches in Nova Scotia are back on the up swing.....Hide some yourself if you feel really strongly about it
