  1. Anybody interested in bidding on one of these? Yes, it's unactivated. I just photoshopped out the tracking / activation numbers... I'll be putting it on ebay soon.....
  2. For the second part of your question; It is perfectly acceptable to "discover" any TB or geocoin that you physically come in contact with. In fact, that is why the "discovered it" option is there. Feel free to write down and log (discover) any trackable item that you come across out there (the ones that you don't move that is). Of course, if you move it, you log it as "grabbed" and then drop it off later. Virtual logging, or logging a trackable item without actually seeing it, and touching it, is a no no though. So if you see someone post a picture of a geocoin (or bug) online, and they forgot to edit out the tracking number, please don't log it. If signal finds out that you did that, he may wee on your hands and give you warts.
  3. I have a couple extra as well. My 85lb german shepherd wears her geocoin all of the time, and it still looks as good as new (well almost). I thought it might be unrecognizable after a few months, but it's barely even scratched good. So it's very durable!
  4. All that training.... for nuttin' I completely missed these. I don't know what the heck I was doing, but obviously it wasn't checking C&P's website. That'll teach me to pay closer attention to things I suppose.
  5. Any idea when #1 (SC) will be dropped? I've been keeping an eye on it, but it has yet to be put into a cache. I volunteer to place one in SC if the current deal falls through.
  6. Bumping for round 3... http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ2...maQ5foutbidQ5fu A ton of geocoins came in the mail over the last few days. I can't believe you guys are still sending them. That's just super cool. I also went through my collection and took out some coins for auction. If you see something you want, please bid and keep your eyes on my auction list because you never know when something rare will hit the blocks. cough... cough... lackey... cough cough cough... unactivated... cough... AHEM! Excuse me, I had a green frog in my throat.
  7. The SCGA also had a non-trackable .999 silver coin.
  8. Emailed for a set. Prefer green, but will take whatever you have.
  9. Were these approved by Groundspeak, the color in the logo does not look correct. It must be a bad picture. It looks correct on the artwork.
  10. drool.... I wish I lived in Charlotte or BR.
  11. Bumping this topic with a couple of updated on Skye's progress. She recently had surgery to replace the bon flap that was removed to help with the swelling on her brain. This is a good thing! Here are the last two updates from her care page... Thank you to everyone that is bidding on my auctions to help Skye. You guys rock! I just added the following trackable geocoins to the auction block, and I have over 20 more left to go! GPS Interactive LE Dorkfish Aquarium - Black Nickel All American - Silver Tick - Black Nickel Bad Mojo v2 - Gold Broken W - Nickel http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ2...maQ5foutbidQ5fu
  12. So sorry to hear that Moop. I hate a thief...
  13. I had something similar happen after updating the firmware on my gps unit. After checking into all of the settings, I found some had changed. The two that greatly affected my accuracy were "lock on road" was turned on, and under the GPS option, "Battery Saver" was selected. With those settings, accuracy was around 250' at best and when I parked and got out to bushwhack, it was if I was "stuck" to the road. At first, I wasn't sure what the heck was going on, and it made geocaching pretty difficult. After a few days of thinking my GPS was broken, I finally sat down and went through all of my settings and found the problem. I was very happy to know that my new GPS wasn't going to have to go back to Garmin after all, but my excitement quickly turned to depression when I realized that I no longer had an excuse for all of my DNFs.
  14. I added a few more coins today, and will be adding more this weekend. http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZima_outbid_uQQhtZ-1
  15. Hurry up and get better Glenn!! I hope you are back on top of the world soon!!
  16. Hey guys! I still haven't seen anything from missionfish, but I have decided not to wait any longer. Many of you have been kind enough to donate geocoins for Skye, and it is not fair to keep you wondering when your coins will be auctioned. I am going to resume the auctions "the old way" and just re-word my listings and hope for the best. Unfortuantely, I have lost my list that I kept with who donated which coins, so please don't be offended if I don't mention your name in the auctions. If you spot the coin that you donated, and would like for me to mention you in the auction, please email or pm me and I will be happy to add it in there. Here is the link to my items for sale. It may take an hour or two before the listings begin to show up, so please be patient. I have about 20 coins left to auction. If you haven't read Skye's updates lately, I encourage you to do so. She is making quite a comeback! Thanks for everyone's support and prayers!
  17. Thanks for the heads up! I took the liberty of reposting this to some SC and NC boards that I frequent, for those that may be interested, but rarely visit these forums. I hope that's okay.
  18. I use the following, and haven't had any trouble with shipping to Canada, England or other international geolands. 3-Part Internet Postage Labels Size: 2-1/4" x 7", 150 labels/roll, 1 roll/box Part # 30383
  19. The dymo is just a printer, but yes, I use it for international shipping. I buy my postage through endicia.com, and print it with the Dymo. I just sent a few coins to England and they made it there just fine. ETA: $1.80 for 2oz to England
