We always woke up Easter morning to find the Easter Bunny left a basket in the family room for each of us full of goodies. Then we would have breakfast and on to the easter egg hunt. Sometimes outside and sometimes inside!! Then later in the day Easter Dinner. These days I host Easter dinner on Saturday. My sister, her kids and my two stepchildren come over for appetizers, dinner and my candy, egg, dollar bill and scratch ticket hunt! Words said to describe my candy hunt are.......I'm beginning to sweat, It's hard core, Mel is nasty, This is the toughest easter hunt I've ever done, I need a hint, How many are we looking for?, I won 50 bucks!!, I found the golden egg, I have how many left to find!, Mel is the queen of hiding! We've been searching for 4 hours now!! In the end these worn out kids still want another hunt the next year?? I guess I haven't scared them away yet!!
