Yeah, I think I will do the same so I can keep track of which one belongs to what area. That is a good idea.

I had to remember to set one of my AL ones aside to make the whole set of 13. I'm glad I looked through the mailer, because I thought the full (including mine) set was in there. They all turned out great! I had to do the same thing. I even called mark in a panic cause I thought the Oak version was mine and wondered how they screwed it up so badly, lol. I guess we were all in the same boat. I kept thinking ok, they must have made a special print of the Florida coin that is included. Then I finally figured out I had to add mine to the collection. I wish there was an easy way to identify each one though...maybe a tag in each coin saying which it was would have been a good idea. Oh well, glad to have gotten in on this they look really great.

We got the Florida coins today and they look great as well. We also got the full set of 12 which is really cool.

Is this part of our group? Still need the GC #s for the remaining group events to add to the bookmark list. It is an 8/8/8 specific event, but it is one I planned before I found out (from this thread) that others were doing ones too. So, it didn't start out as part of any group, but if there's a bookmark list for 8/8/8 events it could be included. There are a few bookmark lists, but mine is for only the events that are part of this coin project group. Not sure if you added ours or not but here is the # GC1E37H We are the ones that secured the Florida coin.

Orlando Florida. Close to all the theme parks, great weather in October, International Airport, Convention Center and hotels out the gazoo. A real geocaching store for you to do your shopping only 50 miles to the east (shameless plug) and tons of great caches. If it is in October cachers can make it for the soon to be MEGA event Florida Finders Fest as well.

Germany pulled out. Anyone want to run an event with a German coin? I have secured this coin for Florida. Florida is hosting 3 events, one in Northwest FL, one on the Space Coast and one about 80 south of the Space Coast. I can't wait to get my full set as well as all the FL ones.

How much?

Last night just by chance we looked at nearest unfound caches and there was a new cache! But no automated email has been sent out. The cache was published sometime after 10 pm and it is after 8 am this morning and still no email. Has anyone else noticed this? Of course we were lucky enough to share a FTF with our friends, but unfortunately for everyone else, they don't even know it's out there.

I think I figured something out. I posted pictures to my own cache and it did not show up in my gallery. Maybe they only show up if you post a note or log a visit?

I don't know if it takes a while for pictures to show up in your gallery once you've added them to a log. I added some pics to some notes that I posted earlier this morning and this evening and they are not in my gallery as of yet. I just count on that to be automatic. That is like a journal. Has anyone else noticed a delay or has it always been like that and I've never noticed?

I can add a link to our local cachers association, but I would like to add the picture as well. I am having trouble doing this, can anyone help? I want our logo shown as a link. Thanks Dale

I would like to see Groundspeak add the FTF option under "log your visit". Once someone has logged this on a cache then the FTF option is no longer available. That way when you look at someones profile it would also show how many FTF's they have. Just a thought...what does anyone else think?

We love the google map but you went back to the mapquest. Why??? We were just getting used to the google and its features.
