"This is a one one so no hint given". Just leave it blank.

Its been about 2 weeks since I ordered my free coin and it has not come. no email either. If you were sold out 2 weeks ago then you should have put a message on the website saying the contest has ended instead of allowing submissions. false advertising.

Time to carry mace and next time a driver harasses you give them a face full of mace.

So when can we expect our orders to ship out

Any Updates?

All this over a cache. Yes it's the oldest surviving cache but each time it's fixed it gets destroyed within a month. If it means so much then we need to find a way to make it indestructible. maybe rig it so the lid has to be opened a certain way or a exploding die-pack goes off lol. a camera could be well hidden somewhere without being seen. Any trees nearby that the camera could be mounted to or geocachers take turns standing guard to protect it.

Dangerous and illegal caches
Lexmarks567 replied to 4wheelin_fool's topic in General geocaching topics
you have to play by the rules. Don't like it don't play simple as that motorcycledude. You don't like people reporting the caches cause they don't meet the guidelines then place ones that meet the guidelines or do the geocaching world a favor and don't hide any. -
Groundspeak won't archive caches due to safety until they are named in a wrongful death lawsuit. I doubt they want that kind of publicity.

Allot of caches have numbers on there cars etc so you if you spot it on the road you can discover it. I want to do that with my bicycle. Some cachers don't use a travelbug sticker just a tracking number on the car. How do I do this? Do I just by a travelbug type sticker that would go on a cars back window then just use sticky letters and numbers to copy the tracking number on the bike frame?

I may be interested since my moms parents were from Estonia. How much are they each + shipping to 48092

Well the plastic is the softer type and is flexible. I did the water test by running the container under water and the toilet paper came out dry no water got in. the lid is a screw on type.

Well back to the drawing board. The magnets I ordered off of evil bay were too small. They were like 1/4 inch about the size of the micro watch batteries. when 20 of them were stacked they were strong but by themselves they were so weak that the magnetic field could hardly make it out of the plastic container and hot glue even though the magnets are Neodymium. So ordered 12 more containers and 20 more magnets of the same type but these are 1/2 inch by 1/4 inch thick. Should work better and this time will use superglue instead.

there was one cache here that was a giant popcorn size can and I went after it didn't see it since it was dark and good thing I didn't couse someone left a note on the cache saying the owner came out and said I will bash in anyones head that comes around here.

You get those anyway tha'ts the downside of living in a city where all the places to hid ammo cans and lock n locks are already taken. Sorry but I don't drive I don't have a car I don't have the luxury of driving 50 miles to a wooded area to hid caches.

containers came today(wow fast) They are soft plastic. Now just waiting for the magnets to arrive.

if the entire Groundspeak service is going down for maintenance then that would include the forums correct?

Well I did find better ones on evilbay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/360493629242?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 and they have a screw on lid.

Time to archive the puzzle cache.
Lexmarks567 replied to Roman!'s topic in General geocaching topics
The reviewer is not the issue when it comes to puzzle caches. I'm talking about puzzle caches that are written in like hieroglyphics -
I made a test cache page to check the cords of a location and The reviewer came back saying It would have issues with a puzzle cache near by so that spots out. Now my question is since it was not published and the container was never placed this was just a test cache page Can I reuse it for another cache with another name or do I need to archive the test cache page cause the "you can't move it more then 500 feet" rule or does that not count since it was never published?

forget it -
I've seen more of those then the 35MM. When cachers hid sign posts caches those are all I see. once in awhile I'll see a pill bottle on a hook behind a sign.
-
Where do you get those plastic containers that most cachers use for sign post caches? I can't seam to find them on line or that E place.
