  1. Stumbled onto it in 2004, but with coursework and other things I never had the time to follow it up. Also no GPS device. I rediscovered it recently and checked to see many new caches had been added since. A new phone app later and was going.
  2. Just a note that the link to www.enigmacaching.org.uk is no longer working. The site seems to be down.
  3. Current outlay: $194 for GPSr $99.99 for hiking boots $36 for UV light I fully expect my costs to climb.
  4. One should be careful in shaking trees. Bits and branches may fall off and hit you. If the tree is rotten, the top may actually come off and hit you in the head! I have had this happen to me once. If you intend to search this way, a hardhat is a good investment to make.
  5. This is the GC code, not the co-ordinates. The co-ordinates are displayed under that in a blue section.
  6. I was thinking about placing a cache and I was wondering about size. Is there an upper limit to cache size? I was thinking that a small plastic garden shed could make a good cache, with a combination lock and a puzzle that gives the combination. I realize that waterproofing would be a challenge and this type of container is not cheap, but in a deep woods location, this could be a fun cache.
