pickpocket

Picked my geocaching name from my tagalong cacher buddy, Pickpocket (aka Pocket), my 2 year old Jack Russell terrier. Not much good at finding caches, but very good at sniffing out what other critters have been by. Not sure how to upload a picture here, but if you click on my name on the left you'll see a picture.

You see potential cache containers where ever you go (Hmmm - that peanut butter jar would make a good cache container . . .) You keep your GPS in your briefcase - JUST IN CASE . . .

I'm a single woman - introduced to Geocaching from another femail friend. WE ARE OUT THERE!

Sadly, my biggest fear is of other people with malice in mind. I have not been afraid while caching except once when we encoundered some, uh, Pine Barrens residents who were intoxicated and sort of scary. I'd rather take my chances with snakes, wild cats and bears. sigh - me too. Not bad when I go with others, but being a single woman alone in the woods makes me feel a bit vulnerable. Luckily, no bad experiences so far.
