I had an incident in which one of my hides was muggled. I went out to check on it and sure enough it was gone. So, I replaced it with another cache of the same type. The next cachers that went out to find it reported back that there were now two caches my me at the same spot. I went back out and sure enough the muggled cache was now back along with the new one I had placed. I did not log either of these as a find for myself. I considered them as maintenance caches.

I know that I would hate it if someone took one of my caches without letting me have the first chance to remove it myself. I have over 50 caches out, and yes, I have had to remove or relocate one or two of them for various reasons. However, for someone else to do that seems irresponsible, disrespectful and down right nasty. Always contact the owner first and give them the opportunity to handle it themselves.

Makes no difference to me what else it may be called: sport / hobby / outside activity / obsession; I call it FUN.

[if you cache in Georgia you are bound to attract chiggers at some point in time. I too recently had a bout with them and heard about the old fashioned remedy of nail polish. I tried that and it worked like a charm.
