I was wondering as the ball has been in my cache for quite a bit now if I can join up at this late stage my birthdate is 18 December. If I am alowed I will go kick the ball. If not I will think of charging rent LOL. Mark (TheCat) www.geocacheuk.com

I am thinking of charging rent for the amount of time this ball has remained in my cache. But failing that I might join in if it is alowed at this late stage I would be on the evens team as my birthdate is 18/12. Hi there I would be more than willing to run the perl scripts on the site. I dont have much expereance with perl as I use ASP. I do have full access to the server and can run perl scripts. If you would be will ing to give me a little help getting it setup and a bit of advice I am sure I can host it. I understand what you mean. What I am trying to do is set up a resource for UK geocachers. I am not trying to compete with geocaching.com in any way. I want to put facilities there to be used or nat as the user sees fit. I do nat want to make any descions as yet as I want to have input from others also some help as well. I have a full time job so can not do it all my self. We will have to see what other input I get if any. If I dont then it will just die a natural death. All I will have lost is the registeration cost for the domain. As I said before it is not out to make money it is out to provide a service. If there is no intrest then so be it. Well that is a good point but I have got geocacheuk.com now. The site was registered a couple of days ago so might not yet of propergated to the whole net as yet. Having said that I have managed to conect to it from other locations. Please try again if you are intrested. Though there is not much there yet. I do not want to put a whole load of stuff there is there is no intrest in it. I will though be putting a discussion forum, mailing list & guest book on it in the next day or so. Regards Mark. Hi there, I have today registered the domain www.geocacheuk.com. I intend to set up a non profit website to reflect the sport here in the UK. I have space on a server etc so all is ready to go. What I am looking for is for some help with the design of the site. There is no pay and the only perks are the knowledge that we are promoting the sport of geocaching here in the UK. I am looking for about 2-3 people that have the time and dedication to put this site together. I live in West Yorkshire so it would be good if you also lived in the same area. Dont worry if you dont though just get in touch. Also you dont need to have much web design knowledge bright ideas are needed as well. Hi Guys and Gals, I am off on my Hols to Europe (Germany mainly) if anyone wants any T Bugs taking then please let me know. I will be traveling down the M1, M25 & M2.A2 on Friday evening. If you want anyone picking up then let me have the cache Waypoint etc and I will drop them off in a cache in Germany next week. Regards TheCat.
