  1. Thanks all, since I didn't receive any interest, I am giving it to my boyscouts to yardsale in their next event. Have a great New Year all!
  2. Hence OBO.... sure you can find a few lowball ones... I can also post about 3 dozen that went for well over what I asked. But I am not a jerk like that to hijack anothers post... but then again most of the people on here aren't jerks and use alternative methods of replying to posts anyway if they have something to say... I found one for you on the bay that you might need... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Clue-/190987341510?pt=Games_US&hash=item2c77bb8ec6 going for pretty cheap...
  3. Looking to sell my Garmin Oregon 550T. I have a few additional maps loaded in for my local. This puppy was right on every time placing me within feet of a cache! I thought I would see if there was any interest. has unit, clip, rechargeable batteries and wall charger. Pretty sure I have original box and cd somewhere. UNIT JUST UNDER A YEAR OLD SO STILL SHINY AND NEW LIKE! looking for $250 plus shipping obo. will email pics since I am a moron and can not figure out how to post them with this listing!

  5. I own a Garmin 450t and think it was a smart purchase and will probably upgrade it in the future....

  8. Remember phones only get you so close... you have to really have your game face on to find them. With my phone I was about 40% now that I moved on to a real GPS... well They seem to be a lot easier and I get in the correct area the first time out!
  9. on windows phone the app is GPS Point. Does gps averages pretty close to what my garmin 450t puts out.
  10. I would say small... I am working up a batch of these and will be listing them as smalls.
  11. I never did anything without a plan, and always have a plan for anything, looking and thinking three or four steps ahead of what may happen for outcomes. I am normally ready for it when it happens. My friends always said I saw it coming or looked far into the future. Then one night someone called me Farseer and it stuck. I also have an uncanny sixth sense to detect my in-laws coming at twenty miles....
  12. I was considering the UTG Multi-functional Tactical Messenger Bag but now that VISM by NcStar PVC First Responders Utility Bag looks pretty good too. Let me know how it works out.
  13. I find the quality of swag in many caches I find to be.... well... lacking. It is mostly crap even kids would not consider fun or exciting. I have only found 16 or so to date, but after 3 I made it a rule to improve each one I find. So every one I clean up and take out the broken crayons, the k-cups, and business cards, and place in whistles (purchased bulk on the bay for $4) Punched pennies with Cool symbols on them (also purchased bulk on the bay for $6) and some foreign currency when I know it will not get wet. I also just found a nice glass magnet maker who does them for under a buck each... picking up a few of them too. Not trackables but still cool stuff. And for ones near scouting places I leave scouting patches. I am really tired of crappy caches, and whats with all the micros when you could have placed a super extra large container there... just to lazy? I mean really hike 4 miles for a micro in the middle of nowhere hidden in a tree branch when you could have placed a 5 gallon bucket there and hid it just as easy? Micros are no fun for kids... Ohh well Off to finish my own caches getting ready to be placed. Farseer
