I can't add a whole lot to what the others have written except that I have one and I love it. My wife is going to "surprise" me with a larger memory card for christmas. The one that comes with it is fine, it's 32mb I just wanted one a little bigger. You also have to purchase a map program in order to get detailed maps of city streets etc. I use Map Source City Select North America. It allows the unit to recalculate routes if you miss a turn, there are some programs that will not allow the unit to do that.
