  1. so, did you check it out with your geiger counter? Can't complain, no one listens anyway.
  2. Do you think this might be a ploy to drum up interest in a future cache? Does the sticker just show what was in the picture or is there some other message on It? This has me intrigued now, I need to find one of these. Can't complain, no one listens anyway.
  3. So Dr Isotope are you saying that we should be "filling our pockets with salt" for a particular reason? I'm hoping my thyroid will not need the protection of the iodine in the salt for the particular reason the phrase refers to. I too have spent some time around nuclear reactors and understand the problems of radiation exposure. I say again, your move. Can't complain, no one listens anyway.
  4. You are intriging but you have us at a disadvantage because we know nothing about you. Your profile seems to hint at goblinisim but not sure. Your move. Can't complain, no one listens anyway.
  5. So Dr Isotope would you care to elaborate on what you mean or as to where the missing cds might be? What evil nefarious plans do you have for them? Inquiring minds would like to know. Can't complain, no one listens anyway.
  6. We went out last night to doBryant's Cache and to try to snag one of Oregone's CDs to sWild in the City but after finding the cache found no CDs . Reading the logs of everyone who had been there before us showed the same thing, no cd. Anyone shed some light on the dissappearing CDs? Can't complain, no one listens anyway.
  7. I just noticed a new cache that was placed in a park where I had the final for a multi cache hidden and the new one is only 100 feet away. It had not been forund by the new hiders yet so they had no way of knowing that it was there. I have not contacted them about it yet because I have not had a chance to check it out and see if it would be interfering with mine. I think it will be okay if it is where I think it is. Don't know the answer to how close is too close but I think this one is okay. Can't complain, no one listens anyway.
  8. Also Hammerhead may have to be cahnged. The Rock Creek Tavern was on of the places to find during this wonderful adventure/history finding cache. Can't complain, no one listens anyway.
  9. Being new at this I am confused about these two markers we found . Searching for this GC45BD we found two markers. Didn't find the third as we ran out of time to search . Both markers are referenced hereRD2538. Our questions are both of these benchmarks or what is the difference between the two markers? We like BM hunting as an addition to our geocaching fun. Thanks for any help you can give us. Can't complain, no one listens anyway.

  14. After much frustration and trying to learn a new didital camera and photoshop I searched to forums for advice on how to post photos. After much reading I discovered the way. I would take my pix and resize them in photoshop and save them at high compression rate jpegs to get them to 100k or less. Then I would upload to the cache page and look at them and find them over pixelated and terrible looking. After my research I found someone who said to just hit the refresh button on your browser after loading and looking at the pic on the cache page and lo and behold the pic came out looking fine. I'm not real computer literate and it took me a long time to get this all figured out but now it seems simple. Try this and I hope it helps. 15. I was out testing my new GPS V and trying to learn how to use it and I ran into him and chatted briefly. He said this was his 11th cache for the day and he was checking to make sure they were not messing up park areas and that they safe. Seemed like a nice guy gave me his card and said I would likely see them in more caches and mentioned some I had read about and plan to visit. Said I would really enjoy them.
