  1. Just checking out the free wireless internet access here at the Red Lion in beautiful downtown north Wenatchee. Took way longer than expected to get here. Had to spend nearly five hours at the Chevy dealer in urban Wapato getting a new transfer case module installed and reprogramed. Didn't get to nearly as many caches as I wanted to. But tomorrow is another day. Plan to hit a few around the area. Coming in today it was in the mid 50s with high overcast and clouds. Should be a great weekend. See you all tomorrow at the dinner. The Red Lion isn't bad but no fridge in the room. Oh well, for 46 bucks a night you can't have everything. Internet works well, not broadband but OK.
  2. We would like to be on the list for five also. Spent a summer in Indianapolis while in the service so it's almost like I'm a local .
  3. Get sick for a few days and look what I missed. I'm up to be on the next list if it opens up. Thanks. Here's the Portland coin info:http://www.pdxgeocaching.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=628
  4. Leaving sometime on Thursday caching my way up. Will be just one for dinner on Friday and Saturday. Can't wait.
  5. I have Oregon, Washington, and Idaho coins to trade if you are interested in any of these.
  6. Rupert2 Just sent you an e-mail about an Idaho for Michigan coin.
  7. Got our ten yesterday and they were well worth the wait. Gorgeous.
  8. We would definitely be in for five. Right now it seems if you make them, we will buy them.
  9. We would like to get five when they are available. Thanks.
  10. Got my time off scheduled already. Gotta find a room now and a navigator, Trav, you up for telling me where to go again?
  11. My info and check for five is in the mail this morning. Thanks.
  12. I'm liking the Columbia River one. Born in the Tri Cities (Richland), graduated high school (RHS 71), US Army from Washington, served at Ft Lewis for two of my six years, graduated from Spokane Community College 1981. Pretty much a Washingtonian but lived across the river in Oregon since 1981. But second choice would be Saint Helens 1981. I was on the receiving end of the ash in Spokane while in college there.
  13. We would like to get 10. Will watch for more information here.
  14. All for the better. Sitting here in my Tacoma motel room and cached my way up here and at Point Defiance Park this afternoon and hardly a drop on me. Oh well, couldn't come up with a snappy name like SnOlympia for this one anyway. See you all at the dinner tonight. I will miss the fun in the snow though..
  15. Great idea for the "Coined" collectors out here. I just traded an Oregon and Canada coin for some GOWT (Geocachers of West Tennessee) coins and am always looking to find new ones in caches. But knowing when a state or regional group is getting ready to mint a new coin and taking orders from all over would lower the initial costs and make it much easier for us to collect them. Great idea, and thanks for this forum post RK, I just got my order in in time.
  16. Has there been an official hotel spot set up for the medium long distance out of towners yet?
  17. Hi, we are Grandpa Rocks & Grouchy Gramma and we too are recovering DNFers. I started early in my caching carear with DNFs but became more addicted to s than to . But occasionally we still slip and DNF just for the fun of a good log. But don't feel sorry for us, we always get back on the wagon after falling off.
  18. Making my plans to be there already. Trav, want to navigate again?
  19. Got ours last night. Thanks Lucy and Ricky for the gargantuan effort to get these sorted and out in the mail so quickly. They are great.
  20. You guys seemed to have the best geo-geek-cachemobile of all at the PDX cache machine. Great to hear you'll be there.
  21. Looks like a great coin and wonderful design. I grew up on the dry (east) side of the state in the Tri-Cities so I would like to get on the list for some. Maybe 20 but ten for sure. Great work on the design getting this going so fast. I'll keep checking for the final date for ordering.
  22. Darn, I've already done about half of those including the difficult puzzle one but I plan on being there anyway. I don't know about calling the weather lovely at that time of year, seems I recall it still being awfully hot then, and I grew up there. Make sure you bring lots of water and a full camelback, don't want any heat stroke.
  23. Down around your old stomping grounds Pepper. You and the girls were there about a month before we were. Check out GC940A. That may refresh your memory. See you all at the PCM.
