  1. OK, got Baltimore/Ayr TB on my watch list! Once it gets to this neck of the woods, I will be sure to try and pick it up! What fun!
  2. What fun to know the TB tag is heading back from Scotland to Maryland! I will be looking for the TB's name so I can track it. Did you attach the large plush blue crab as a hitchhiker? That would certainly limit the sizes of caches the TB could be dropped in! May you and your husband have a very Happy Christmas!!!
  3. Congrats, Ayrbrain, for getting the photo up on the site! Glad to know everything arrived in one piece! Apologies for not getting back to you sooner to help with the posting of the photo...I just got bogged down in work the past two weeks, so wasn't able to make it back to the forum. Have a wonderful Christmas! Cheers, Roamin'Catholic
  4. Hi Ayrbrain - Glad you liked your parcel! : ) I used It Takes A Thief's suggestion of PhotoBucket as a way to get a photo into the forum - I think I have figured out how it works. I will send you an email, and maybe we could Skype and I could walk you through the steps, if you like... Cheers, Roamin'Catholic
  5. I use Photobucket, then click copy Image and place here....under image... Hi - I am trying your suggestion of PhotoBucket, as I was trying to figure out how to upload photos to this forum, as well. Here goes nothing! I hope it works... OK, it looks like it worked...but is there a way to get the photo after the quote, or is this just how it uploads to the forum page? Cheers, Roamin'Catholic

  7. The number 4 is, how I understand it, to note when you received your package (from the person who was to send it to you). If we all track the progress on this mission, the person who sent you the package can check your user name and see the package arrived. You can do the same by checking the other person's last status update to know if it arrived already. Regards, Toho_NL Thanks, Toho_NL, for your reply. I am dense - only noticed your response today! (duh!) I will now fill in #4 when I receive my package - still hoping! : ) Cheers, Roamin' Catholic
  8. Mission accomplished! (well, almost - I mailed off the overseas package today). How do fill in #4? I sent the package First Class but didn't register it (that would have slowed it down) so no way to track it - pardon the pun! Are we to register when we receive our gift TB package so the sender knows and can complete #4? This was fun - : ended up sending a few small items to represent my area (I understand It Takes A Thief's problem: I went to the airport to find a postcard!) Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, all! 1. Participating Date - October 30, 2013 2. Received Name Date - November 14, 2013 3. Mission Complete Date - November 23, 2013 4. Mission Received Date -
  9. Just received my mission - as a "traveller' geocacher, I am glad I will be mailing a package to a geocacher overseas! 1. Participating Date - 7 November 2013 2. Received Name Date - 15 November 2013 3. Mission Complete Date 4. Mission Received Date
  10. 8 more days to sign up! It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas EVERYWHERE we go.
  11. ...just sent an email to indicate my interest in participating. Cool Yuletide idea! Cheers, Roamin'Catholic
  12. Hi Blue Deuce - This is very cool, to know there is some way to correct one's logging errors. I appreciate the feedback from Dprovan and Walts Hunting, giving me a break if I don't catch up. But I would like to do it right. I keep a photo record of the TB tag numbers, but should get into the habit of logging on my iPad Geocaching app to avoid this problem (but it was too expensive data wise to do it while in Europe hence the delay). Thanks for the advice, folks! Cheers & good caching to all!
  13. Thanks, stijnhommes and dprovan, for your responses. I was wondering if using notes was the way to go, but thought notes were more for maintenance-type issues. I guess leaving a note means the milage for visiting will not be given to the TB, right? And is that important for most TB owners? I have 3 TBs in circulation, and I am always jazzed when I see one is moved, especially long distances, and track it on the TB map. Or is it just me....? Cheers!
  14. Hi - Just returned from a great trip of geocaching in France and Germany...lots of caches found, but am backlogged in my logging! (OK, I am a newbie) I took photos of the TBs I had with me visiting a number of caches and want to log and upload photos of the TBs, but one of the TB was grabbed before I had the chance to log I had dropped it. I want the owner of the TB to have the photos and logs of the TB before I dropped it, but how do I do that now that the TB is grabbed and put in another cache? The TB is now out of my inventory as a result, so do I just do this by posting notes to the TB page? Thanks for the help!
