  3. Mission1 1. Participating - Spider bite me 8-27-08 2. Received Name - Received 9-15-08 3. Mission Complete - Sent out 10-17-08 4. Package Received! - 10/27/2008 Another awesome mission, although the fact that both my missions sent me spiders (fortunately not real ones ) freaks me out a bit. This mission contained 4 coins: Saving Little Hearts, Tippacanoe & Wanna Too, Cruisedude, and 888 Event Coin. The mission also contained some Halloween candy which never had a chance before I devoured it. And I saved the best for last....the coins were placed in what appears to be a hand-made camoflage bag!!!! My better half is not much into coins, but she grabbed the the coin bag from me as if it is now hers .... I do not know who sent this mission....but a BIG Thank you for the coins, candy, and extra swag. Another FANtastic mission complete on my end....looking forward to hearing about all the others starting to arrive to the everyone else. Mission2 1. Participating - Email sent 8-27-08 2. Package Received! - 10-16-08 I received my 1st mission on October 16th from Canada, but to an unforeseen delay, I was only able to open the box earlier this week. I was blown away by the nice Halloween decorations and the personal touch by putting in football notepads...how did you know I was such a football fan ...The best part was when I opened the festive bag and saw the 2 coins that they sent. I received the Monster Cache 2007 (on my seeking list!!!) and the Halloween 2007 R,I,P Geocoins. Thank you so much ELTADA for making this mission a wonderful surprise. You definitely went above and beyond.
  4. My FAVORITE thing to do in this whole world is going to the DMV!!!!! I wish that I could do it more often.

  6. Nothing like releasing the sample on "International Talk Like a Pirate Day" .... great coin by the way.
  7. No silver coins this year, but HEY, let's have a cointest in which people suggest the reason why! I'll pick the winner based on just how funny and/or ridiculous the answer is. The winner will receive one special limited GCF version of the 2008 Geocache America! coin (Only 100 made). I'll give the cointest until Saturday midnight (EDT), and announce the winner on Sunday (10/21). Here's an example: I decided against making Solid Silver 2008 Geocache America! Geocoins because: Silver isn't as "hip" ever since Michael Phelps won 8 gold metals. or My town's mayor banned silver! Which is a conflict of interest, because he's really a werewolf. Have fun! Dave (Yime) The silver would clash with all your Gold Bling that you wear.
  8. Do you mean the Vikings one? If so I think I might have an extra for trade.

  10. Prior to my rtecent sending off an additional 40 coins overseas, I had 7 coins in Europe and 3 in Canada and all are still in play. Of the 7 in Europe 5 have been in play since 2006 or early 2007. I have not lost a coin yet overseas. I have 16 that have been muggled or are just missing from caches in the USA (13 different states represented in the missing coins). I have coins that are either in or have passed through the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Luxumburg, Denmark, Czech Republic, and Italy.
  11. Thank you to everyone who has assisted me so far. I have sent out over 40 coins to people from around the globe. I sent out an additional 6 packages today for placement in Greece, Portugal, New Zealand, Iraq, Qatar, and Faboe Islands. I have heard from all but 3 of the original packages that I mailed and have nearly 20 of the 30 coins currently placed and are traveling. This last batch of coins has put me over having 100 travelers currently in caches around the world (around 1/2 are traveling in the USA). I am still interested in sending out more coins to countries that I do not have coins traveling. Thanks again, PSU Fan
  12. I have a few coins to trade of two versions of the GeoJellies - Big Bean Series for trade. I am looking for coins off my seeking list as well as pirate and sea related coins. Please send me an email for trade offers: Chips & Salsa (PSU Grad) - Nickel coin Cold Beer (PSU Fan) - Black Nickel coin
  13. I like the fact that geocaching is such a great family activity. Although I do not have any children of my own, my extended family get together once a year and I take my nieces and nephews out caching. This past year the area we met did not have any caches, so I hid one at the resort for my family to find and personalized the cache with swag that I knew they would enjoy (and I made sure they had items to trade even or up, so I made out well too ). The next mission should be pictures and stories of familes out caching and exploring areas that they never knew existed. There have been recent threads that talk about Geocaching being such a "family friendly" sport ... let's show that it still is!!!
  14. Geez...wish this one was last week when I activated over 30 coins and sent them all overseas to start their journeys. Perhaps I can try to track down a couple more to put out locally. Great mission GSA!!!
  15. I completed the remaining 5 packages that I needed to get out. I have mailed off over 30 coins to 17 countries I have people placing coins in the following countries: Sweden Netherlands Scotland England Canada Japan Portugal Norway Australia New Zealand Germany Italia France Belgium Austria Luxembourg Ireland I also had requests for Texas, Maine, and Jersey (I may not be good at geology , but I do know that I could have saved on shipping by accepting these proposals . Thanks again for everyone who is assisting me in getting coins in caches around the world. I am still interested in getting more coins into countries that I still do not have any travelers (any African country expect South Africa <I have 2 travelers in SA>, any Asian country, and any countries in South America. Kind regards and happy caching, PSU Fan By the way, I know that it is Geography, not Geology!!!!
  16. Payment sent for my "Penn State" Blue & White Turtles. Tsun you are the best for coming up with such a cool color scheme !!!!
  17. Hay psu fan, got your mail but i thought you want me to place in Belgium. Is this correct or am i wrong. I don't see belgium in your list. Please place the coin in Belguim. I only put the countries that I mailed the coins. I also have coins being placed in Ireland, Austria, and France. Thanks
  18. I am caught up on getting emails off to those who currently have coins coming to them for placement. I had a nice response and have coins off to the following countries: Sweden Netherlands Scotland England Canada Japan Portugal Norway Australia New Zealand Germany I still have 5 packages that I have yet to get out in the mail from round 1 of the project. I am still looking for more countries to place more coins. I have had great response from the Netherlands, Sweden, Scotland, England, Canada, and Germany, so I am hoping to get them into other countries as well. Thanks again for everyone who is assisting me in getting coins in caches around the world. Kind regards and happy caching, PSU Fan
