The software can be installed on as many computers as you like, but the maps can be unlocked to only two different GPS receivers. According to GARMIN, both receivers must belong to a single individual or you will violate the usage agreement. That's all I have to say about that

A very small (about 0.3 inch diameter) split loop key ring will just barely thread into the carry strap mounting point. I use one to attach a tether when using the 60Csx on my motorcycles (added protection in case the cradle releases while riding). Very cheap and quite effective so far.
