I talked to someone there today and he said he never head of the problems, like the firmware slooooow updates and features not working. These people are clueless. I said "If they are selling there product for Geocaching, and they do not listen to the Geocachers and it does not work, why not take the words Geocaching off the box and stop promoting geocaching". I have not got passed the tech support yet. Still trying for software department. That might be tomorrow's fun. So, if they have not heard of the problems, I guess we should let them know.

Today I called the sales department for Magellan and asked if Magellan was a real company for Thales. Not just a tax right off thing and do they employ anyone. I said that I have contacted the tech support about the firmware updates and that they only do them when needed. I also said that theres a lot of unhappy customers on the Yahoo groups & Geocaching forums. I mentioned that if she was in sales, they might want to have happy customers or they might be looking for work some place else. I bent her ear for some time and she said a supervisor would call me back. Maybe if others call it might help?
