Oh.....I know who's cache that is. I always get alot of fun taking care of this cache. BTW, when I get the pix's uploaded I send an email out to all the people in the time frame that the camera was there asking if people want there names listed.

Return it to REI. That's why you paid a premium. Get a brand new unit and you don't have to wait at all. REI rocks. Well........took it back to REI today. Walked in and she gave me credit for my unit of 599. Then charged me 439 for the new one & I got a 172 bucks back on my credit card. Almost like hitting lotto today! REI does ROCK!

It is still under warranty & I have a RA # from Garmin but it will be gone for 7 - 10 days. It would be easier to return it to REI for a new one. I just don't want to get a lemon.

I have a 400t that I bought in April and the gasket on the battery compartment is screwed up. I bought from REI and not sure to return it or send it back. Mine works. The # 18z003xxx. Any thoughts?

Seems to work good right off the shelve. It was real close to the numbers as the Colorado, for me. I can't really see getting rid of the Colorado tho. The iphone battery life sucks. BTW, the iphone has really no warranty. So if you drop it, thats it. The Colorado is built a little better. Nice app if you are out and about and forgot your real gps and need to get a FTF after your notification comes up on your iphone or just want to show someone about geocaching.

Looks cool so far. Vacationing in Georgia, will be trying out in the morning.

I have a 400t and I thought I imported a white background and choose that for the background color. It's early and can't remember how I got it.

Oh..........maybe it would be nice just to have it work right on a Colorado???

I found 251 beta & 254 beta on my machine. I will down grade and see if it works.......stay tuned.

I tried to find an 2.5 version of firmware but had no luck. Any help here?

Well can someone at Groundspeak hammer on Garmin to get this fixed sooner than the last firmware update? That was long in coming. Maybe they could fix the other stuff to. BTW, I did part of the Facial Recognition Wherigo, another one of Dave's last night and it worked.

Look at your profile page. Log into www.geocaching.com, sign in. on the left side of the page click on MY ACCOUNT next on the right side click on the rectanglar box under STAT BAR then on the leftish side click on the tab GEOCACHES, there you will see your new ICON

It has to be a Wherigo that is listed on the www.Geocaching.com site to get a new ICON. You can play all the games on the www.Wherigo.com but no ICONs.

Do you do paperless caching? Cachemate? Not sure if they fixed it but before you could not do the Quick Install to your Palm device. I think Vista S U C K S ! YES............I have said this before, and there are people that love it and people that do not. After the old XP laptop died I got a Vista. Paid 200 bucks to get the XP fixed. All my geocaching is on the old XP.

I have a 400t, when I do pq's there are 450 caches in each pq and I do 4 of them. They all over lap. When I send the file to the tomtom / gsak its showing about 1500 caches. Does the 400t know if there is duplications? What I want is to have is closer to 2000 caches on the 400t
