  3. There is a cache that starts in Oostende : The Good Stuff But for this one you'll be needing a car. It takes several miles along the Belgian coast to complete it... I've placed a cache where you can start in Oostende by taking the streetcar or trolley. It takes you all the way to the Belgian coast, takes at least 12 hours to finish it. You see the complete Belgian coast-city's. The only thing is that the discription is made in Dutch... But if you're intrested, let me know. Marathoncache met de kusttram... 4. Thanks everybody, But Stan March is still waiting to be picked up ... I thought I was wrong, but I made a mistake....
  5. Hello everybody, Can I ask you to pay extra attention to my travel bug : Stan March from South Park. He really wants to get back to Belgium !! Never mind the other TB's because we want to win this race !! Hey, I know, it's not very friendly but I'm from South Park ....remember. So please take me first... 6. Hello Jeremy, The new cachepages for Belgium needs some attention. When we search for caches in Belgium, we have an option to choose from 4 States.. actually we have 10 States in Belgium. But Belgium is so small. I think we can say that Belgium is even smaller than one state in the US. So I think the best way to do this, is to skip this option and that no states can be selected in Belgium... At this moment only 15 caches are selectable out of +/- 200... 7. All activities that goes with your GPS are applicable on these CD's. You can store Waypoints, routes and tracks but.... Alle these functions are best initiated on the GPS at his own, meaning on the CD's you can't make a route or insert easely a waypoint. The maps are very good and very detailed. If you want an example on my website : http://users.pandora.be/erik.de.meyer2 and go to the page : achtzaligheden. There you'll find a map of the CD's imported from the program as a gif file... You can also discuss this at http://www.geocache.be Rovertje I thought I was wrong, but I made a mistake....
  8. Benelux site, I think it's a very nice idea. But first things first. I've allready had quite a lot of nice conversations with our colleauges in the Netherlands. I think we can say they are about 1 to 2 years ahead of us... There's allways the difference in culture and legal rules. I give you one example : hunting in the Ardennes. At the winter season quite a lot of hunting is going on in this region, some area's are then completely closed off. It's something that our site has to report to our community and to foreigners that are or will visite Belgium. That's only one example of problems we can expect. At this point we are service-ing the Flemish speaking community, within a few days our service for the French speaking colleages will be available. I think there's absolutely no problem to join us. Within a few months, when everything is stable and we know exactely how big our Belgium-Luxembourg community is, we can start talking to our colleagues in Netherlands to do something together. I know something is allready cooking to go European with this. It takes time, but first things first and think of a good wine, it takes time to bottle a nice Rotschield.... 9. I thought I was wrong, but I made a mistake.... [This message was edited by Rovertje on March 06, 2003 at 04:37 AM.]
Rovertje I thought I was wrong, but I made a mistake....
I thought I was wrong, but I made a mistake....

  15. Hi folks, I am Rovertje from Belgium and like to log the cache "Where's in a name " from Crusso waypoint GC3153. Therefore I need to search for a brother or sister geocacher in the neigeberhood of next latitude : W 77°33.785' the altitude can be choosen by yourself. To log this cache we'll be needing a picture of your GPS with the exact coordinates on the screen and a nice picture of the neigberhood. Would anybody of the States help this Belgian ?? Greetings from Hoogstraten, Belgium. Rovertje I'm lost but I'm making good time. ? Yogi Berra 1925-
