  2. Are there any groups in Kansas where cachers go on expeditions together? I'm fairly new at this, but think the experience would be more fun in groups. == If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you. ==

From the Geocaching website, I'm trying to download caches and I keep getting the 'file format not supported' message. I'm using the 'open' not 'save' function. I tried using the older Netscape 4.79 and was able to download caches. Anybody know what is going on. Same thing happened to me. I unplugged a cable I had in the serial port and rebooted my puter. One or both solved the problem and it now works fine == If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you. ==

  11. A signature sounds like fun, and since I'm still new, it's a great time to start. Are they normally placed in caches you hide or the ones you find? == If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you. ==
  12. I'm not sure, but I don't plan on caching there too soon! [] == If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you. ==

  17. I just downloaded EasyGPS and tried to download a waypoint. When I do, I get a window that says "File Format Not Supported" and it says it cannont be opened with EasyGPS. I've saved it to the desktop and when trying to open it, it is not listed. Do I need to have my GPS connected to the PC to download waypoints from geocaching.com? == If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you. ==
  18. When I first started caching, the overview state map that shows caches (blue ... green for new ones) used to show found caches in white but doesn't anymore. Is there a reason for this?
  19. I like some of your ideas. I'm planning a multi myself.
  20. I.D. I think it's a good idea to at least have the name of the TB on him, that way if you are traveling and have access to a computer (very easy nowadays) you can look him up before traveling hundreds of miles back home
  21. Hi, I'm in Salina and got started in GeoCaching last year. I'm anxious for the weather to straighten up so I can get started again! It would be nice to find others in the area for groups and parties that other states have.
