  1. Congratulations! You've lapped me. I guess I'll have to put an end to my slacking. :>
  2. Hello, What's this all about, anyway? And why has that rabbit got a GPS on his head? Timely
  3. ...he's back. Sorry for the delay. Geocachers from the Garden State and anywhere at all are cordially invited to visit my newly-reactivated cache "In Memory of Arthur Curry" on their way to logging the many delightful Geocaches hidden at the beautiful South Jersey Shore. Timely
  4. ...are greatly exaggerated. I'm alive and well and will be hitting the Geocaching trails in earnest now that the holiday madness has passed. After all, there's no excuse for living in New Jersey and NOT enjoying a good day outdoors, even if you do it from the driver's seat. Timely
  5. While visiting the Geocaching-friendly Garden State last week, Shilfiell logged her 100th Cache right here at the Jersey Shore. Congratulations Shilfiell, on your long-awaited 100th cache! I'm sure I'll see nothing but your taillights from this point on. If any Garden State geocachers find their way up into Shilfiell's turf, Rochester, NY, be sure to check out her incredibly popular cache, ``Watership Down.'' Timely
  6. There's some fun going on in here, and I want to find it! Nice talking to everyone!
  7. Can't help myself. I just hate the thought of going out for a cache and coming back empty handed. I always print out the hint along with the page just in case I get stumped. Sometimes we need the hint, sometimes we don't. But it's there, should the occasion arise. I do feel guilty while it's printing, though.
  8. Even shopping at dollar stores, it gets up there in a hurry. I like to include at least a dozen items, usually more, plus a pen, logbook, and the container. Throw in a few ziplocs for moisture control, and you're right at $15. On the other hand, I specialize in 1/1s. I've got a more difficult cache on the drawing board, and I've lined up some more memorable items for that one. Still, it's comforting to know that if an inspiration hits, I can pull into the nearest dollar store and grab all the stuff I need to place a fun cache that people will enjoy finding. Timely
  9. Way to go, Floops! I'm happy to have been a part of your ever-rising toll. Hope to see you around the lovely Garden State again soon! Timely
