I think that comes from your web browser, and you haven't specified...

Look in settings for an option like "clear form data".  As memory serves, that's the Firefox terminology.

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping to only clear that one box since it seems to serve no purpose to keep such a long list.

  2. When typing in the coords, there is a drop-down list of previous coords. It is getting longer and longer. I am doing a trail so I only need to see the one previous set of coords. Is there any way to delete the useless sets of coords in that drop-down list?  Thx

  3. It is on the menu where you can access the cache description, hint, past logs, log your find, etc.

Yes. it's there (left screen - bottom down left):

You must have running an active GoTo to the cache.

Thank you for replying so promptly. I am aware of that location and use it to put in a next stage. What I would like to do is just type in coords and navigate to those, without an active go to screen. The 450 did this. Any chance?

Sure: Applications > Where To? > Coordinates

And therein lies myproblem I think. I do not see the WHERE TO icon. grrrr What am I missing ?

BINGO, just found how to add it . Thanks for helping me along my adventure. This was like trying to find a 3.5/5 !!!

  6. I am trying to be helpful and delete double logs I find on my caches, thx to project-GC, and then I send a short note to each Cacher! But I get a timeout from the message center and told to wait 20 minutes. Is there a limit to the number of messages I send or the frequency? Seems silly so there must be a reason that I need to know! Thx

  7. So help me out here a moment. I have 4 FTF. ( yeah ME! ). I did not see a place on log-in to check a box. Is there one? Does it disappear after the first log-in?

I did mention FTF in my entries, tho. I would like it if GEOCACHE kept track for me. I tried CacheStats tonight to see my stuff and searched ftf in my stats and could see the 4 caches I found and the log entries. That was cool and handy!

But it seems that there must have been an easier way.

Can I post FTF in retro?

    Thx for your thoughts! :)

BIG OOPPSS! Just read further down the list of topics and see answers to what I asked. My bad! My learning! All good!!

  8. AH HA! Thx everyone! That is it. Ski resorts!

Unfortunately, Valley Schuss is closed, gone, as is Caledon Ski Club. Hockley Ski Club is still going strong tho'.

    Question answered.

    Thx

  9. Ya, would make sense to tell you where I saw this symbol

This is the GC # GC25XZY

There is a symbol both east and west of this place on the map available from the geocache home page. Does that help??

    Thx for your replies!
