Putting a geocache near military establishments is ill-advised. Frankly, putting "stashes" in many, many locations is sure to raise the suspicions of passers-by. This is an interesting concept... caches that require more planning -- and committment -- to get to. Certainly would be an interesting addition to the "sport." I have an underwater cache ready for placement -- need to wait for the water to get soft again to release it. And I thought long and hard about the fairness of it... it's tough to get to, is deep and therefore is only accessible to very few geocachers. But I decided to go for it anyway. Going to be in Ottawa with a little free time on Saturday afternoon -- coming into town on 417 -- and would appreciate some help identifying a couple of relatively simple caches to try for... something that's not hidden under a half meter of snow and something not hidden in a crack in a wall someplace seedy (dadgum... those downtown Toronto caches!)
