  1. Try going to Edit then refresh. This enables the geocache icons.
  2. Guess I have become a GPS junkie. I use a Lowrance IWAY 600 in the car. I load the Caches into it and with the large screen, the caches show up as red crosses. (icon is optional) As I drive I see the caches and if near or I have the time we go. I also have a Garmin 750 on the dash just because I like some of the Garmin features and POI's. Then when we are stopped I get out the Oregon 400T. I just bought the West Coast TOPO 24 from Garmin. I have a Garmin Vista HCX as a backup but don't use it much anymore. My wife still likes the Palm PDA so I load the caches onto it via GSAK and she can read about the cache while we are getting near. I also have a Pioneer in the Motorhome as well as another Lowrance IWAY 500. While the IWAy is not portable GSAK recently set up loading the cashe information onto the IWAY. So as follows: We are full time RVer's and change locations frequently. Geocaching is our hobby. IWAY 500 IWAY 600 Garmin 750 Garmin Oregon 400T Garmin Vista HCX Palm Z PDA (for Cache Info)
  3. I use the Lowrance IWAY 500 to route me to the area of the cache and then use my Garmin Etrex HCx to get me to the cache. I download the geocaches into GSAK and with Cachemate software export it to the Lowrance. I usually get up to 500 caches. They are shown as icons on the gps screen. That way I can see a nearby cache on the screen or I can route sequentially. When I get near the cache I pull out the garmin and hike to the cache with straight line directions. I also download the caches into the garmin and into a Palm PDA to have the information available for my wife to read while we are looking for the cache.
  4. Yes, I do transfer data directly to my Garmin Vista HCX but it will not work for my IWAY 500. Tried and tried. Think it has something with the icons used. Have to go to Easy GPS to get it on the IWAY.
  5. Thanks, Now I understand. Tried the download from the page and got all the data. Still, a wish list. Would be easier and faster for me to download the GPX file from the page list. Any chance of this changing or having an option for premium members?
  6. I don't see an option for type of download. I enter the zip code, see the page, check specific ones or check whole page and then download. No option for type of file.
  7. I am new at this. I am now a premium member. I download the geocaches into GSAK and then into Easy GPS to get the information into my Garmin Vista HCX and my IWAY 500. I find that I have to use the Pocket Query to get all the information in the data transfer. If I download directly from the geocache list on Geocaching.com I don't get the information even tho I am a premium member. I don't like using the pocket queries all the time. Is there a way to go directly from geocaches list into the GSAK-Easy GPS and get the notes, previous finds, hints, etc, I am sure someone else out there knows. Thanks for any help
