how about a stolen and stripped car in the desert, repoted it and the cop that showed up said it wasen't there the day before. -
you should see all the abandoned and rusted cars around las vegas, some areas look like junk yards

there's a cache south of las vegas that you go to coords at night with a good flashlight and follow the reflectors to the cache.

i hade some problems with mine to and then i talked to a friend of mine that works on cell phones and he said it sounded like a loose conection and he was right, haven't hade a problem with it since i fixed it. -
i have a radio shack tester that is about 20 years old and it still works fine

i did my research and finally settled on the e-trex vista. it has everything that you could want except for the tri-axel compass that will work in any posistion. the e-trex is easy to use and works very well with my computer when i download maps and it has a 24 mb memory. -
check out sharper image, they have a portable cooler that goes around you neck and runs on a AAA battery

i have a etrex vista and have no problem with it getting a signal under trees,in my truck, or even in front of my computer in my house and it is very accurate and works great. -

i found the best way to core out a golf ball. when i go to the mountians i usually bring a few along and play a little gun golf. takes care of the core and leaves a nice hole when you fire it off the muzzle of the gun. get some great altitude too.
