  1. Same issue here, made for a super awkward message to a cacher I've never met as I pasted something in and it sent 6 times. Please fix this.
  2. It was working for me today, then just stopped. Zoom doesn't help, restarting the browser didn't help. Maybe I'll restart my router, refrigerator, vacuum, and all the clocks in the house and see if that works. Sigh....
  3. Maybe I am just blind, but I have not been able to find an option to "Save and post later" when logging a found cache. In the old app I would mark the cache as found, then just put a word in the log message box so that it would allow me to save and post later. That way I could quickly mark all my finds for the day, then go back later and type in the full messages for each one when I was home. Then I would send all the logs at the same time. Is there a way to do this in the new app?
  4. There is a new 47 cache series that spells out TEXAS near the smiley face in Houston. It is the Texas Extraordinary Achievement Series (GC2K0CD). It took my brother and I 4:44 to complete the series.
  5. Yes, you can share bookmark lists. But as far as I know you can not limit access once you share it. I don't really want to share my bookmark list with the world, just my geocaching friends. Furthermore, some of my friends use vehicle GPS devices that are not compatible with pocket query outputs, they have to input each cache's coords by hand as we cache. So I would have to share my bookmark list, and they would have click on every single link to get the coordinates for each cache and write them down. Regardless of the usefulness of this feature for my geocacher friends, this would be a huge help to me. I always make a list of the waypoints and their coords when I go out caching. I use this list to make notes on, to double check the coordinates that were loaded into my gps, and to check off that I have found the cache. Instead of having to make my own list every time, having the waypoint name and coords on the bookmark page would allow me to print that off and use it. Also, since I write down and refer to caches by their waypoint name, having the cache name show up on the bookmark page is about the least helpful bit of information for me. To sum it all up, I think there are a lot of advantages to having this information shown on the bookmark lists, and no disadvantages. That is why I think it would be a great new feature, and a simple one to implement. ~Bloodycool
  6. Sorry for the double post, the internet threw up on the first one. I think it would be very helpful for bookmark lists to include at least the waypoint name and the coordinates of the geocaches. This would enable the use of a bookmark list as summary of the days geocaching or as something you can cut&paste into an email to a friend so they can make sure they have the correct waypoints loaded into their GPS for the next caching trip. Anyone else have thoughts on this? Bloodycool
  7. There have been many times when I ended up somewhere unplanned and wondered "are there any caches around here?" Now that the iPhone can give you a rough location of where you are, it would be awesome if there were a way to easily take that location data and use it to search for nearby geocaches. Just a thought from a geofiend.
