  1. The Burr Oak State Park 36-cache series (BSOP01: GCTNG2) in Glouster, Ohio, by fishingohio, is great for cachers who like to combine their hobby with long, scenic hikes and backpacking. Obviously, it is a lot of work to create such a series on 23 miles of trails in a state park and I give a lot of credit to fishingohio for his efforts and for being responsible for one of my all-time favorite days of caching. My question: are there other cache series along hiking/backpacking trails in the Midwest (or elsewhere)?
  2. My brother and I started geocaching a few months ago. We have separate user names, because we sometimes cache separately. We had some concern about both logging a find for the same cache when we were out together. Is that cheating? Obviously, one person sees it first. Then I started to think, even though my brother may have spotted it first (or vice versa), the other person is normally the one too busy looking at the GPS unit to do the actual searching. We are both then working to find the cache: one using his/her eyeballs, the other using the unit. Also, one person is driving, one person is navigating to the next cache. So...I no longer feel guilty that we both log a find for the same cache. Does this logic seem reasonable?
  3. Has anyone compiled a list of rest area caches along I-75 from Ohio to Georgia? Just curious. Going to be travelling that route and before I do the homework, I was wondering if someone already has compiled a bookmark or listing somewhere. If not, I will make a public bookmark for others. Thanks.
