  1. Hi John, did you get my email? - I'd like three more TB's please. Henry.
  2. Following team tisri's recent Trackables for sale post, and a great purchase from them, it struck me that there may be others who don't want their geocoins for what ever reason. I'm particularly interested in trackable coins from before 2007, activated or not, so if you have any in excellent condition that you would be prepared to part with please drop me a line via our account on here. Thanks, Henry.
  3. I think (s)he is requesting if somebody has those ACTUAL tracking numbers on an existing TB tag... "_L8HNB" or "L8HNB_" A long shot, to be sure, but certainly worth a shot. :) Yep, that's it Gitchee-Gummee, I'm not holding my breath though "(s)he" - we cache as a team so the L8HNB is our car registration and stands for Linda (L) & (8) Henry (H)....
  4. We have cached as L8HNB since early 2006 and would like to get hold of a trackable that has those digits on. Foe example *L8HNB or L8HNB* We know it's a long shot but has anyone got one of thess? Many thanks, Linda & Henry, L8HNB.
  5. Don't give up too easily! I'm 60 next month and the enemy is a bit older than me - we did our first ever kayaking today and loved it Bit stiff now though. 50' up a tree though, no chance, 3' up a ladder is more than enough for me...
  6. We are so sorry that the directions you have been required to take are so different from those that the UK caching community needs. We have not met, I don't think (!) but we've been to your talks at Mega's and always respected the huge amount of unpaid hours that you have given to geocaching in the UK. We hope that, with your agreement, that an event can be arranged (as for your old colleagues Eckington and Lactodorum) can be arranged to thank you. We wish you and your family well. Linda & Henry, L8HNB.
  7. Great thread! Checking out the contributors, this forum is still looked at We have Agricultural champagne that was released in '07 on Jersey and requested to make it's way back to the UK to visit places that brew traditional cider. It's been all over Europe but not made it back to the UK yet! It spent ages in a toy box and seems to have stalled a little at present. Here's hoping. L&H.
  8. Nice one John Best wishes for 2013... Linda & Henry.
  9. What a strange thing to have, perhaps I was using a Beta version Fur coat and no fill the rest in your selves folks Guess what I've just done Now you lot, don't get too excited it's very much in the planning stages. Thanks for all the pm's. H.
  10. PM sent H Thanks Mark, I'll have a look....
  11. Not placed a cache for a while, LOL, but don't remember issues in the past - it wasn't this type of form then though... Problem is the software won't let you go to the end to do a temp save as far as I can see. I don't want to have to load lots of info in again to find I can't get to the end to save it.
  12. I'm just trying to put the bare bone for a new cache into the system and all ok until I get to choosing the container size. I've tried moving the slider and double clicking on the icon, even tried changing to a size I don't want to no avail. Anyone else had a problem? Suggestions gratefully received.....
  13. Thanks Mark, I did wonder if I should text you
  14. We've sort of started caching again and now there are the stats on the profiles I notice we don't need too many to complete the Difficulty/Terrain table. I've tried advance search but don't see an area for putting the specific D/T (say D4/T1) to find the nearest cache to my home location. We are premium members so I would have thought there was a way, any ideas folks? Thanks in advance...
  15. Go for it please! When we completed LQ England we asked if anyone was going to do one in Wales and Scotland but nothing happened. Its a great feeling to complete, and if you do it with the old counties I think it will be even better, and also to see others complete the challenge. We are lucky enough to have LQ Worcestershire and we still get a kick when folks say they are taking up the challenge even though we don't cache much these days. Might even get us going again if the caches look good. Good luck, L&H.
  16. Perhaps someone will be brave enough to wait in between the barriers until the Police come and get their opinion? Where is the OP in all this?
  17. Hello Gents - compliments of the new year! That will be it then - we logged The Rock that Rolls at the 1st Mega too, perhaps the Niedersachsen one is from Fast Forward - Such den Bulli we got that one there too. It does seem a shame they don't mention why they are awarded with the write up. I did see that on the other GS forum it was suggested the souvenirs might be a revenue stream as mobile phone users would have to pay to see them. Hey-ho, many thanks. Edit, hello Lady and Gents!
  18. We recently received an email from TPTB that we had been awarded a Souvenir. Now we've had these before, the first after going to the Mega in Perth and then one for attending the 10-10 event both last year, which is fine, but the email we got the other day awards us the Texas State Souvenir and I see we also have also aquired the Niedersachsen souvenir. Needless to say we've not been to Texas lately, or the other place for that matter! I did have a look to see how we achieved such exaulted status and also checked the main forum but it dosen't seem to explain why these have been awarded. Personally we're not bothered but if the GS database thinks we have been to Texas then perhaps there is cause for concern?
  19. Our thoughts are with Pat and her family. We will fondly remember David from our waddle in the mud out to the barges, to get Flotsam & Jetsam EXTREME, when we met him for the first time. L&H
  20. Will you be having any for sale from the UK, as I don't much like the pre-sale rigmarole and the handling fee on the dealers website? Would like take one of each if you are. Thanks, H. Nice coin btw!
