  2. i have a garmin 60cs (yes i know should of waited for the x ) the problem i have with it that often data i add to it like way point (geocache) apears in the sea . also it use to have roads marked on it in the uk but after i updated the units software earlier this year all that disapeared - not that i ever really used it with roads but its a bit confusing to be honest . also when i got the unit i kinda was hoping that it would have some relief data on it but it seems that u have to buy that seperate - im not looking for a ton of data to fill the unit up (besides thats what a map is for ) though i am concerned about some waypoints appearing out to sea when clearly they are not any one had the same problem ? and or any tips ? many thanks
  3. oops well can only blame the scenting of the site really lol
  4. yeh great ideas i will be in asia scuba diving for the next 4 to 6 mths and really want to place a few under water . sady though where i will be diving the sites are dived a lot so the issue of muggles finding the cashe is a big one . or having to make the water navigation part a bit too complicated still will keep yu informed of how i get on . i kind of though of using the gps coordinates to the buoy line of a regular ly used dive site then with instructions for search. as where i will be is full of funn divers spending a few weeks or so at a time the oppotunity of repeat dives to find it is high - also using the divemaster or instructor to help with the navigation part of the find would be posible
  5. just thought i would start a thread for people in sussex to say hi
  6. hi my name is will been on the site a while but have only just started playing the game - i am mostley based in sussex though i am traveling a lot these days so look out for cashes i am intending to place over seas really enjoying looking for the ones placed in sussex at the moment . i generaly just load whoe areas on to my gps then switch the machine on to see if any thing is nearby when i go for a walk . for this reason i only load on traditional cache as i never know which ones i am going to look for so i rarely have the clue so relie on just the gps and trying to work out where its placed
