  1. I logged a new find and that seems to have done the trick. Mind you, the first log attempt failed. Needed to go back to the cache web page and start again. Then all was well, including the find count.
  2. Yesterday I field logged 2 caches as finds when I meant to log them as DNFs. Yesterday evening I went online and corrected this. However, my find count on my Profile page didn't change. But, the find count on my Statistics page did change (and is now correct). I've tried refreshing the page, I've tried logging off and back in again but the 2 cache difference stubbornly remains. See attached screen grab. (Sorry about the adverts - blame Google!).
  3. Yep, that should do nicely! Many thanks.
  4. I would like to suggest an enhancement to the Instant Notification Service. I would like to receive a notification whenever a specific cacher has a new cache published. I don't care about the type of cache. I don't care where in the world it is. I just require the facility to specify the cacher(s) I'm interested in.
  5. I was very pleased to see 3 new Locationless caches published over the last 3 years as it had been a quest of mine for a long time to collect as many different cache types as I could. For other people with similar ambitions, and because they're fun caches to do, I ask Geocaching HQ to publish 1 a year (each available for 1 year) for the foreseeable future. I'm confident you can continue to come up interesting / worthwhile / fun ideas.
  6. I have come across a cache with a hint that consists of only FOTC. Anyone have any idea what this means?
  7. Where that is the case, that is the route I've taken to determine publication date. More often than not that is not the case. And for these I've fallen back to messaging he CO, a most unsatisfactory alternative. If the date is not currently available, perhaps a future version of the App will rectify that.
  8. Where can the publication date of an Adventure be found?
  9. 20 is a multiple of 10. That makes it a 10 year anniversary, the second one.
  10. Just seen the first announcement of the "Celebrate 20 years of geocaching" event for next year (August 15, 2020 at Seattle Center in Seattle, WA.). Question: Will the "Lost and Found Event Cache" and "Groundspeak Lost and Found Celebration" icons be used again for this and other events for this celebration? I, and I imagine many others, have not attended events of this type and it would provide an opportunity to rectify that. (I currently have found 17 different types of caches and would love the opportunity to extend that to 19!)
  11. Thanks for the replies. Will chase the GSAK people to correct. PS. Sorry for late reply - never got a notification of the above replies in spite of ticking the box!
  12. Luxembourg was divided into three districts until October 2015: Diekirch, Grevenmacher & Luxembourg. It is now divided into 12 cantons. See this Wikipedia article for more details. However, all the caches still have "state" shown as one of the above 3 defunct districts.
  13. I will try and remember that for the future! Just checked and it now says 6000 again. Too late for what I wanted to do but, hey, that's life.
  14. Not so. Midnight in Seattle has come and gone.
  15. Yesterday I used the API to refresh 5000+ caches (in my GSAK database). Today I want to do another "Refresh cache data" on another database but the "Get available download balance" API informs me "Full format balance: 493". Why is this? When will I get my full 6000 daily allowance back?
  16. I thought that should be the case. Thanks for the confirmation.
  17. Are there any caches, anywhere in the world, that have the negative versions of the 'Lost And Found Tour', 'Partnership cache' or 'GeoTour' attributes?
  18. I would like to report Lance6885 as a thoroughly undesirable person. I have just received a message:- Hey! Check out {removed} if you want to view all the premium caches in your area for FREE!! I have no intention of clicking on the link as it will certainly be malicious!
  19. This is a really annoying bug that I had expected to be corrected by now. Any idea when we might expect a fix?
  20. On your profile, on the "Trackables" tab, is a list of categories of trackables moved/discovered together with a count and, at the bottom, a total count. How do you break this down into 2 sub-counts, one for total "Travel Bugs" and one for total "Geocoins"?
  21. Excellent! I was already tentatively thinking of going to that Mega but if the GPS Adventures Maze goes ahead there that will be an absolute definite! There's just 2 icons left (that I don't have) that I can still get and that is one of them. (The other is the APE cache but I have no plans to go to Brazil any time soon.)
  22. When/where is the next one? I know it's been retired in the USA but I understand it's still ongoing in Canada and Europe. Is there a way to be automatically notified when the next one gets published? Is there a way to search for one that is currently active? All I've found so far is two bookmark lists that just show archived events. http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.aspx?guid=e38eaff9-a3ea-4734-9782-9799cb5db341 http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.aspx?guid=da5a1f8d-bac7-4f84-84ef-dd26be4e34de
  23. Thanks for all the responses. Looks like Simply Paul is my best bet....
  24. I have recently retrieved one of these tokens from a cache and am trying to find out as much as I can about them. Also know as PuzTox (plural), PuzTok (singular), AAND or Aluminium Alpha-Numeric Discs. I believe there are 10 different ones, all in different colours. I believe they were created for the 2012 Oxford Geolympix and can be used to create/solve puzzles. So..... 1) Is the above accurate? 2) What are the 10 different colours? 3) How many were released? 4) Do all of the tokens of the same colour have the same information on them? (I figure the answer to this ought to be "Yes" or they would be no good for puzzle solving.) 5) How do I find examples of the 9 I have not yet seen? 6) What else is there to know about these tokens?
